Q-Cards: Placement app

The Q-Cards app is a ready reckoner mobile application that helps a student to revise different technical subjects (like C, C++, Data structures, RDBMS).

Preparation for placement season is an exceptionally big task for students raring to enter the IT corporate world. It is a task that involves a lot of planning including revision of all the subjects taught during the course of their study in college.

Generally, the traditional paper flash card approach is employed by many students for memorization which conventionally has a question written on one side of the paper and the answer on the other side but these paper flash cards are not always convenient to make and carry around.

To address these issues, “Q-Cards” is the proposed mobile application that is a digital version of the traditional approach.

In particular, the Q-Cards app is a colorful, effective, efficient, user friendly Android based mobile application that has been designed to save time for students to explore, assess, test and boost their technical and aptitude expertise.

1. Primary objective of this app is to maintain a dynamic question bank.
2. This app will consist of cards related to a technical subject or aptitude and covers 10 questions per card. The next card after question will show whether answer selected by user was right or wrong.
3. The app also includes games to enhance the interactive nature of this learning-based app.
4. This app will also have reading section which will include all reading material along with questions
5. View progress option would allow a user to see her/his progress through the visualization and reporting utilities provided in the app in order to understand her/his strengths and weakness.
