PhoenixMobile for Android
Would it be too much to ask for an ap that is mandatory to use to actually work... Especially when the older versions worked?
First of all let me state that I use a Samsung Galaxy S7 and I work as a field inspector for a company that is making using this application mandatory. I love the idea and this app. has already saved me a lot of time and has eliminated about 65% of my paperwork. A good app. that will only get better, I'm sure. Camera needs work though, zooming needs to be fixed and the camera should support autofocus and not delay when taking pictures. Thank you!
Not working. Shuts down a lot. Hasn't worked in three days. No technical support. Sometimes loses the completed cases. Poor quality app.
Needs to fix ability to, "add-to" call log and sync up in the field through the app, I think I heard they are working to add it. The camera pinch zoom is WAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYY too sensitive, please somehow lower the sensitivity. I feel like I spend more time adjusting the zoom than it would take using my phones camera app.
The inspection tool needs to be expanded eith other forms. The drawing is limited
Used on a tablet, then got the S4, miss the page with the cases mapped out big time. Other things that would be a great app is an export appointment option so that all your scheduled appointments show on your google calendar. I also think that the sketching function could be improved. Allow the user to draw a freeform sketch, and allow the user to tap on the lines and input actual measurements. This would speed things up some as I like to draw an inital outline before measuring.-on Samsung Note 4
Helps with time, nice concept, however... Constant force closes and crashes, right in the middle of something, loss of work, no technical support is terrible. For such a simple app, it sure doesn't get fixed
It's great app, what's silly is it's restricted Android use. My note tablet ran the software great, but it's got damaged in the field, so I thought I could use it on my BRAND NEW LG android phone! Nope, apparently PhoenixMobile will work on Apple anything, but rejects nearly ALLLL android phones. And that's a huge amount of points off in my book.
I really love this app. I use it almost extensively and I am a full time inspector. I recommend this app if you want to speed up your inspections. A few requests: 1. Android Phone support. 2. Camera Timer (When I need to put my tablet on a pole and shoot a roof pic I have to switch back and forth with my native camera and this takes time, especially when I have to add the pics from the gallery). Having an "All in One" camera would speed up the process. 3. The current note taking section is atrocious. I have to use Evernote for my free hand notes because of this. Plus the fact that you can't export these notes to another app or email makes it almost useless. Allow the note section to take advantage of the S-Pen's precision and give us a note export feature so we can save the notes prior to submitting them to the website. 4. Add a number to a Pin on the map when there is more than one survey under that pin (i.e. when they are close together). 5. Allow multiple surveys to be submitted at the same time. Single upload takes forever. 6. Allow custom order of the photo tags so that the ones used the most are at the top. 5 stars when implemented
Phoenix started off slow and had lots of bugs and seemed to be way behind the ipad version. But with each update it gets better and better. Inspections are going much smoother and the app has become much more UAD friendly. Takes some getting used to right out of the gate, but in time it will be your best friend.
Works great
The only appraisal sketch app that does what it's supposed to! Great app.
Not supported on the Galaxy S 3 smart phone yet. Anticipating it wil be quickly available on this device. Great there is a good mobile option for appraisers. Looks to be more user friendly than its competition. Cant wait to get it on my device.
Probably the most useless mobile app I've ever used

Nice concept, could be a great field tool, however... After all these years, it should be better, not worse and not like it's still in terrible beta quality. Horrible customer service. App developers are incompetent to say the absolute least
