Philips HealthSuite Health app for Android
The app now works with the LG G5 and Android 7 but the app is very slow and becomes unresponsive often.
Both the watch and the app are Total rubbish, wish I never wasted a lot of money on this not fit for purpose watch.
Often can not synchronize with the phone
The app is awful. It's designed to meet the needs of people in Phillips, not users. Can't get it to pair. Have to consent to share data with Phillips, have to set up an account.
I'm using this app with the Philips Upper Arm BP monitor. Sadly there is no way to install this on a tablet. I can't imagine why this would be the case as the monitor only requires Bluetooth to connect to the app.
Need to add feature to change between kg and st.lb instead of it being area specific
The app works really slow on Android 7 and my phone is rather new and fast, so definitely it's the app. Connectwd to the scale eventually but won't connect to the wrist blood pressure monitor no matter how often I try. And here was me thinking it was a good idea to buy these two devices because they connected with the same app.
Worked well with Samsung galaxy s7 edge but the update on phone to android ver 7.0 caused lots of problems including difficult or no connections and very slow syncing. Unpaired watch from phone, then deleted watch from app. Uninstalled and reinstalled app including all the password stuff now it works great again. Would be 5 stars if it had an export function.
One day after buying the scales for tracking my diet it has become apparent that this app is quite non functional, for starters the units are not allowed to be changed from Napoleon to good old fashioned stones and pounds, how hard could that be? Woe betide you if you make a mistake but then you want to rectify it later, the calorie input wheel has no form of undo or reset function, the goals are fixed at rates that Philips decides for you, I'm probably just being picky that I know less about my own calorie intake than a consumer electrical products manufacturer, I am clearly unworthy of trusting myself to do the right thing. Come on Philips, GET IT SORTED!
The app holds only one blood pressure reading a day, it's not possible to see a summary of your readings overtime share or export the the readings, all you see is dots...
every update every sign in
Working well on Android 7 with a wrist blood pressure monitor. Would like the ability to hold sveral readings in a day
Can't even open the app anymore
I just received the bluetooth blood pressure machine today, downloaded the app, and check my pressure. It worked fine, but.... I did not realize, I cannot operate the blood pressure device from the app. That was my main reason for buying a bluetooth blood pressure device. So the app is useless to me. The bluetooth function is useless to me. Not sure what the return policy is, but probably will return it.
I am not able to login due to a server error! Update: I wish instead of asking me to contact the personal health team directly, you could communicate it with them and give me a better solution!
Absolute rubbish, app refuses to recognise the watch even though it is synced with the phone.! I'm guessing it's because the phone is running Android 7 and the developers are too tired to update the app..!
I'm not able to log in or change account info. Very frustrating. Definitely not a representation of Philips. I wish they would fix it.
Recently upgraded phone to a Google Pixel on Android 7.1.Will not recognise the watch even after pairing.
I've been using this to connect with my digital scale. It easily connected and records my data in the app. I'd like it to connect to Google Fit to record weight and body fat %, but overall works well. Seems to have many other features I don't use or have interest in.
What's the point of the blood pressure monitor I just bought when I cant export the data? Absolutely useless, please sort it!
I like the blood pressure monitor, but the app only seems to save one reading per day. I need multiple readings over the day. Can this be done ?
The App should be able to select Lbs or Kg's. The so called Metric System or USA system. If you select on the scale Kg it does not automatically update it in the App or even give you the option to choose! When calling customer service they recommend to call Samsung. Really a pity as the scale works good and design is good as well....
Works fine for first couple of months, after having problems with sync restarted, reinstall and still can't see my progress though the day. Although watch works absolutely fine. Get a bit frustrated
I am quite disappointed with the app as it will not connect with my Health Watch. After contacting support and trouble shooting the issues without success Philips sent me a new watch but unfortunately I experienced exactly the same issue. Although my device is relatively new (OnePlus 2 with Android 6.01) and a connection seems to made between the phone and the watch via BT, the app is not able to connect. The issue has been escalated to the development team.
Useless app brings down otherwise excellent device. The Philips Wireless Upper Arm Blood Pressure monitor is an excellent device. The only one in the pack of bluetooth monitors that allows both connected and offline measurements and has a display, too. But what's the point if I can't use / display /analyze BP history? On a hi-res phone screen all I get is tiny dots on a miniature scale, can not zoom in, can not export, print... it's hard to tell 125 and 150 apart. I can't even look at the data on larger screen, as it refuses to install on a tablet. There is not even a basic listing of values! As it is now, it's a data collection device without any meaningful way of using such data. :-(
Upon initial use I thought it was amazing. Synced immediately to my upper arm BP monitor. 2nd day the same synced was really pleased. 3rd day nothing. Have been trying to get it to work for 2 days now. Uninstalled and reinstalled. Reset my monitor but won't sync. Ridiculous you can't store you're measurements as that's the whole point so you can hopefully see your health improve. Has just made me more stressed !
Worst decision made to switch from Fitbit (which I gave to my daughter) to this obviously she wouldn't give me back my Fitbit I hope they manage to improve sync and UI
Frequently fails to sync. Tried repairing twice. Repeated process over and over but still unable to view my data reliably.
Features are good but connectivity to devices is v poor. After 3 days have only managed to upload wrist blood pressure data once. Watch data sync. Is even worse and drains phone battery due to multiple failed attempts.
Hoping to find one unified solution to track several personal metrics, I was very disappointed when this app. Once my account was created and confirmed, I tried to log in but the app just kept saying "checking our records" endlessly.
This now fails to sync to my smart watch, blood pressure monitor, ear thermometer or scales. Have tried re installing to no avail. Using a Moto g4.
Had no problem using the app
It's a cool app, but I have had to Unpair and Pair my watch again a couple of times. I suspect the watch needs a firmware update. Waiting on that before I update the review, since I like the app and the issue might not be the app.
This app is absolutely useless. Thermometer pairs with phone but not with app. Unbelievable. Sort it our Philips. Won't go anywhere near any of your other products until you do!
Increasingly frustrated at having to keep installing this app in order to achieve synching for a short period of time and now even that's stopped working as I'm getting a 'unfortunately PHS has had to close' message each time I open. Communication by email with customer services has got me nowhere
First suggestion would be to make the sign-up process easier by using an option like sign-up with Google, also for the password I would recommend to remove at least one of the requirements, specifically the one requiring a special character. Other than that the app works fine, but I would also recommend to add a function that links with health features on your phone, rather than requiring you to purchase an item before using the app, just adding something a little extra. Also, widget support for Android.
Feeling healthier already!

I brought a philips wrist blood pressure monitor for medical reasons and as a blood pressure monitor it works, however it is suppose to connect via bluetooth to this app but it does not do so!! Having spoken over four days to the philips people they suggested that I send it to them for testing!!!!! I suggested that thay sent me a new one and I would then sent the unit back. The only reason I bought it is so I can keep a record of my blood pressure automatically. I am disgusted that it cannot do this, that Philips are not prepared to send me one that works. DO NOT BUY PHILIPS BASED ON THIS THEY ARE SELLING A SECOND RATE PRODUCT AT A GREATLY INFLATED PRICE!!! There was a time when buying a Philips product you knew you were buying quality regretfully no longer.
