Golf NAVI+ for Android
I have been testing this and one of the other apps. I like the look and feel of Golf Navi a lot more than the other and the fact it can still give you distances even if your away from your phone is amazing. The other app stops working and requires me to reconnect very annoying. The only issue I have and its a biggy. the distances are OUT by 10 meters or more. I have checked this to the distance makers or the course as well as to the other app. Dam I was just about to upgrade to pro.
Update seems to have made the application easier to use - however, mine will not change from the front nine to the back automatically and i cannot for the life of me figure out how to make it change from OUT to IN on the nines.... Anybody know how to ????
Tries to load map and data endlessly when i click start round on my lg g3
Keeps saying waiting gps unstable
I use this app with my gear 2 watch and not my phone. I gave it 4 stars because it eats battery life.
Total crap
App found my course and provided pretty accurate yardage on front 9. Could not get the scorecard to work. Would not advance to hole #10, only 9 holes were listed. When I tried to switch to green view, I got a message "coming soon". I removed the app.
Tried several times without success. Good luck.
App will not work on either Gear S or phone. Won't find tee. Looks for map and data endlessly. I paid $30 for gear s app and wouldn't work last 3 rounds.
Works great on my S2 and even added a course near me that wasn't on originally
Used this app yesterday for the gear 2 and it told me Bluetooth disconnected 6 times during one round. Only got about 3 good readings in 18 holes. Disappointing.
It couldn't tell what hole in was on, totally ruined my game, some of the free apps seem to be more reliable, I hope they sort this out soon
Froze. Wouldn't let me enter score or change holes. Uninstall.
Can't find a way to sync to my gear s2 got the golf navi app for that but want something on my phone to track rounds
I used this for the first time yesterday on Black Gold in Orange county. It worked great for the 1st nine holes. The cart had an in-cart GPS that gave distances to the pin, this was pretty accurate. But once I got to the 10th hole, I could not make it go to the back nine. It kept giving me a ,message, "Haven't start the back nine yet" After messing with it a few holes, I simply restarted my watch to turn it off. The concept is great, but during a round of golf, I want to play golf not mess with a GPS device. Next round will be with my niece who is just learning to play, so a slower pace of play. I will have time to mess with it more. If it becomes too much of a hassle, I will dump it and go back to golfshot or Shot by Shot. Both of these know where I am and what hole I am on with any hassle. I gave it three stars because the distance was pretty good, The front nine was great. After the next round I will update this review.
Finds the nearby course, but not the tee, it says 142976 yards...the map shows the right hole but for a 10th of a sec., than something total different or blank screen, hope they will fix this asap
Keeps stopping and get message that my subscription has expired when it doesn't expire until Jan 2016!!!!!! NOT HAPPY PLS SORT THIS
Have not got it to work yet it causes me to have to restart phone. I Uninstalled it but was still in application forced stopped it and Uninstalled again, installed again working better. Still not able to get the gear to work it keeps asking me to start game when I know I picked the course. I will keep working on it. Or will cancel my monthly subscription.
New install on Galaxy S4 force closes. Have never been able to see a single screen. Update1: The app starts now but get stuck on the next screen - "Get hole map and data" ! Update2: Adding a second star now due to the layout on Android Wear watches. That is what golf apps on smart-watches should look like. Quick distances to Center/Front/Back. Application resumes without user interaction. However reliability is still pretty bad. It works only about 30% of the time. Frequently gets hung on blank screens, "Got to Teeing ground" etc. Battery killer on the watch. User interface on the phone is quite useless. Often Force Closes on phone. I am done trying to get this to work reliably. Might revisit if major updates are made to the application.

If you have to buy it before you can try, forget it
The app tries to guess what hole your on. This does not work well when multiple holes start close together. It goes into a loop asking you if you want to change holes. Need to be able to select the hole manually instead
FOR A FREE DOWNLOAD APPLICATION THIS GPS RANGE FINDER CANNOT BE BEATEN.
App is not bad, but no gear 2 support to try. There was a free version for it but has disappeared from the gear market. The only way to test it with the gear will cost $30.00+ and apparently will have an annual fee attached to that afterwards. I will improve rating when I can test the watch again and would even consider buying (even with the rediculous app price) if they drop the annual fee. We'll see.
I'm trying to login in my galaxy note 10.1 and is Impossible said I need to check my connection
Works great on the gear 2 neo. Thanks
I have used this app once with Samsung Galaxy Gear 2 Neo. It showed accurate distances but had some problems to be fixed. The bluetooth was disconnected frequently even though I carried S3 in my pants. And there is no hole number correction. Once it catches and shows wrong hole number, I had to restart the app from the beginning.
