Change4Life Food Scanner for Android
Very good, recognises most products. If our doesn't recognize it is probably because you haven't included the whole barcode in the white area
Complete waste of time hardly recognized anything, if it's not a top brand then forget it Totally useless
Ot is really helpful when go out shopping to see if i have got a healthy snack
It is so great. It does actually work. I love scanning things, I can now know how much suger and salt is in the things I eat.
I love the app but also have an idea to further improve like maybe having a sort of diary for each user so they know exactly how much they have eaten :D
Amazing thanks it changed my life
I love it because when the no added sugar products says no added sugar this app can tell you if it's true
Great useful app
Ok for sugar content. Don't care for the advice on fat
This is a fantastic site to keep track of calories you are eating
Great! User friendly, quick, easy, clear and very helpful!
It changed my life to a happy one
Easy to use. Could do with more recipes
Amazing everybody needs this !!!!????
Rubbish
Brilliant
I love this app, our school told us about it. Made by the government? Well thats what theu said. Anyway, the only problem is how many food items are not on your list. I understand if this app is an alpha (Early released for those that dont know what im talking about) but please do improve it in the future. You should add fizzy drinks like Dr. Pepper because those are the things I was looking forward to testing. But thanks anyway!
Not that useful. Gives info on fat, sugar and calories, although quite a lot of food items not recognised. All information is typically available on the food packaging anyway, and there is no tracking of intake, specific advice on the nutritional balance in the items scanned, food diary function etc. Nothing you couldn't get by simply reading the label. A novelty but not much practical use.
Its 81m it doesn't move to SD card Won't work without Interweb & makes Silly noises that cannot be switched off and only works with 50% of Food scanned and no link to Sugar Smart Database very odd
Why would it have calories per pack eg a whole bottle of ketchup or a whole tube of pringles, it should have per serving, a bit dissappointed as it could be useful and the children like it and live scanning different foods
Keeps saying unfortunately didnt work
It will not work for me
Can't get to WORK
It is a really good app and it has really helped me to lose some weight ????????
It did not start up
Awwesome!!! ☺
Amazing. I'm getting much more healthy
Great. Very helpful.
brilliant
Lovely
Really like this app and it is going to really help me cut down on sugar because I have a sweet tooth. Recommend this app to anyone who has a sweet tooth or just loves a bit of sugar! ????????????????????
It realy helped me and the family notice all the sugars and salts in the foods we eat. Its a really good app try it of you want to loose weight
Not as good as the previous app
Hi luv u
Helpful information
I think this app is really helpful, clever and cool but the only issue I have with it is that half of the items I try to scan arent picked up and tells me 'we do not have the details of this product'. this wouldnt be a problem if it was just a few items, but its with literally 90% of them. Other than that its awesome. Pls fix.
Love the concept and look forward to it developing more. Can't scan easily especially small bar codes on curved surfaces ie jars. Suggest improvement of scanner and the ability to enter items through stock photos and or free text of bar codes etc. Once this sorted I would give it 5 stars. Thanks.
Did not save all my scans. I am not prepared to scan a product I have already scanned. Takes too long after scanning while you watch dollops of fat and sugar drop down one by one before giving result. App needs to give instant results. Great concept. Could be a great App. but needs a lot more development.
Great app tells my family what is healthy and what isn't. The only problem is most things sent registered, I'm sure they will add them it's just fustrating when the information is not there. That's the only problem!

Scanned a product without any added sugar, it told me the sugar content. Scanned another product without any added sugar, it wouldn't tell me the sugar content and told me that natural sugar is okay. This seems quite inconsistent. Secondly, are you trying to tell users that eating natural sugar is okay but added sugar is not? Does this mean that i can eat my own body weight in fruit and not be concerned about all of the sugar? A friend's father got told to cut back on fruit because he was pre-diabetic. He snacked on fruit constantly throughout the day instead of the usual junk food. So i'm pretty sure your message is false.
