To make this TOP NOTCH, you should allow the app to make a mental note of all the icons original filenames and allow the ability to push back those icons to their respectable locations. This will allow to change out custom icons with a BREEZE if such functions were implemented. This app has some HUGE potentials.

Ok when you open the app you'll see a black screen that shows your folders. What you do is you choose which folder you want all of your icons extracted to, you can make a new folder if needed. After you choose the folder and click the extract button you'll see the progress message box so you know when it's done if you want to stick around to watch it. When it was done I opened my file explorer to see the new folder with the 600 new icons in it! The icons are named after the app name ex: com.android.gmail. So it's very easy if you want all of your active icons, mine are themed with unicon so they all match. What I was disappointed about was there are no options at all. I was hoping I could see a list of apps with their icons and choose which ones I want but beggars can't be choosers. I'm very happy with the end result, I just have a few hundred icons to delete from my folder (no big deal, it's easier than extracting or copying and pasting the icons myself.)

The kind of app I like: It does one thing, does it quite well, and I use it often. I have a similar program for Windows and was pleased to find this for Android. Thank you so much.

Does exactly what it says it does, which in and of itself deserves 5 stars. Even saves them with the name of their intent instead of just random numbers. Thank you!

Does work but only extracts main icons from your installed apps. Try ThemeX to extract icons from libraries! Has potential in future.

The UI leaves something to be desired, but for such a simple application, it's barely a downside. Simply select (or create and then select) a folder in the list where all the icons will be extracted to, then click "Extract here" and you're done.
