Band-in-a-Box

I use it all the time for practice and ear training. I would like to see two things to improve it. 1. OTG USB Audio Out 2. "Jukebox Mode" by selected Folder when toggled on.

'Works as a client' ? Nope ! A useful 'client' would at least be synchronised to 'MIDI thru' output of 'B-i-a-B'. The only promising feature is their necessary wifi connectivity. Both the App & its 'server'? -- need work to save the questionable reputation of their application developers.

Display shows Major chord for a Diminished chord. Display doesn't synch with playing of 3/4 or other time signatures.

Have to be tied to your desktop to use. What's the point?

Has problem with the server connection.

This app is stupid. You have to own Band In A Box to use it. Add an extra $200.00 for that. NO THANK YOU! iRealPro is much more practical. Plus you get 1,300 song for free on iRealPro. PG Music has lost sight of what it program does. It is a practicing aid. Nothing more. Buy iRealPro for $13.00 and forget about this stupid app.

Can't do anything! Always asking to Connecticut to some inexistente Server!

Used to work great but quit working on Android. Doesn't seem to be much support for the app.

If I wanted Band In A Box for my computer, I'd own it already. All I wanted was a free app to make a basic tune.

No fair giving no stars because you find out that this app only works with the desktop/standalone version. This is clearly stated in the opening description. Band-in-a-Box is a brilliant program that every musician needs. Get the full PC version first..

Well worth the price and works well with regenerated songs offline but doesn't work with songs prepared on desktop.

You must own a copy of Band in a Box on your PC or Mac.You can load and generate tunes on your server computer and auto load them onto your phone where they'll play locally.

What's the reason of making an app for a phone if it must be connected to PC or Mac original software?

This application is totally useless. You must always be connected to your desktop... what a waste. The app functions only as a remote desktop.. should be free !

A lot of potential. I love the interface and the ease of which I can enter in the chord progressions, but as long as I have to have it tied to my desktop at home it's only going to really be a gimmick to me. Make it able to render the audio on it's own and it will be an essential tool for me on the go.

This took an upgrage to Rel 11.5 and I had to download and apply a patch. Now its working great on my Lan and over the internet.

Why do I have to connect to use app? And when I try to connect it cant find Mg wi-fi server? Sorta frusterating and rediculous for having paid to get program.

Great potential; desktop version brilliant, but this app is so limited in what I can do. Need desktop to do anything with it. Ireal b much more use.

Disregard the negative comments. Works great. The server runs on you desktop/laptop and you can then transfer the songs to your phone or tablet.

Force Close on gingerbread 2.3.4

I am a jazz musician and i use BIAB for most my gigs and it works great on my ipad. However i just got this version for Android and the program does not follow the songs at the right tempo, so when i look at the chart when I'm playing, the wrong bar is highlighted and i could potentially get lost in the song. If you guys fix this i will give 5 stars because i love BIAB, but i can't use it on my phone for that reason.
