Love the app. What would be useful is if underneath the word slider on the spritz like reading screen there is also a slider for reading speed and also a next word button and a previous word button. Would make reading such a pleasure!

Get this application now and read far faster and far better.

Can't open or browse directories to open anything on nexus 4. 4.4.2

I wanted to use the original, I was very excited about it, however it is having trouble loading the pdf book I downloaded. There is no help file and it is not the easiest to bring up a list of available reading material.

The file explorer makes it impossible to find books on your device. Even using an alternative file explorer and attempting to open fails

It is such a waste of the opportunity that this app was shown on premium time Swiss TV. I didn't expect the dilettante crap that it is - no way to open anything apart from a single page of sample text. Please find somebody to change your pampers.

Rendered text as gibberish. Ads are distracting.

This is a great idea and it looks like it has a great interface, but I have been waiting for it to load a pdf for about 20 mins now. I have tried others and it doesn't take this long. I am using an HTC One (M7).

But I was wondering if we could get it to read other books we buy on the play store(or if its already possible, how do I do it?)

This works ok. Further searching and trying apps in playstore I found FBReader with the OpenSpritz plug-in to be far superior... and that comes without adds at the bottom of your screen.

Good spritz. Crashes a fair bit when opening, or skipping through, documents. Will be a solid 4 star when this is fixed.

Impossible to locate files. The file explorer doesn't appear to start anywhere useful.

I used this app a ton and it worked very well besides a bug with the history where the next time you open it only the page you were on is loaded and not the rest. Also I recently updated my S4 and now my files can't be found. Please catch up with that or this app will be useless to me and S5 users

when opening file manager it takes you to the root file system, who the f*ck know right off the bat where your files are in that mess?

Just like many others have said, I cannot open or find any book files. Plus, the system to search for the files is quite obscure for a non-computer guys. For example all, the files are list horizontally and have strange short hand names such as, persist/, acct/, vendor/ and so on. If I click on the persist/ file it opens the next file which in this case is the sensors/ file: /persist/sensors. Then a black white screen with the two files listed up at the top of the screen. I'm not even sure what any of that means. Maybe if there were directions on how to actually find a file that might help. The sample Alice and Wonderlands that was provided worked great but sadly that was it.

App lists system directories with no indication of where e.g download folder is.

I have a nexus 4 and I can't my SD to open my files so far the app seen to be really good

So I tried to go to the file in a file manager but it errored when I opened the epub file that way.

With some improvements this could be the best speed reading app.
