Oral-B App

It's amazing. It specifically shows me which side I missed to brush perfectly. It also recommends how I should brush my teeth. It tells me to floss, brush my toung, and rinse with a mouth wash. I personally use the one with braces cuz l have them on. It's very meticulous and over the top app for me. I enjoy my oral -B brush more with this app. And you get streaks for brushing your teeth frequently

Terrible! LG V20 model phone. Using the 8000 series. The app won't even connect to the phone. Expensive product crap benefits in terms of what the app has to offer. Thank heaven they have a 60 day trial. So looks like this beauty is going back to the store tomorrow and swapping it for your competitor "Diamond Clean" at least that has more to offer.

I bought my brush in September 2016. Loved it. No problems at all. Dentist loved it as well and saw an improvement in my teeth. So for Christmas I bought one for my husband as well. Once again, no problems was syning and everything. Till the last week of March. Both of our tooth brushes stopped syncing. Now it Only records our times if we have the app open. It doesn't save past ones anymore. Very annoyed. Thinking it has something to do with the update we had. I'm also annoyed however that Oral B has not been making attempts to get back to us for assistance. Seems like we are not the only ones either.

Useless POS. I read other evaluations before downloading and determined the app coder is WAY overpaid. No legitimate software engineer writes crappy code and relies on a phone manufacturer to giddy up and launch a new OS to rectify fatal bugs. This app will not pair with my phone, finds it, loses it, then wants a PIN#. Learn the Agile method once you graduate sixth grade.

Giving this app a one star review until the following problems are addressed: 1. App now crashes when opening and is currently unusable. Have tried all the standard tips and tricks to get it started including uninstall and reinstall. 2. When app was working, it would not sync all sessions properly even when connected via Bluetooth at start of session. ***Update*** App now works consistently and has been a great help at keeping progress on track.

Doesn't work, can't connect and I bought two toothbrush 8900 & 9000 and they're not cheap, and I bought them to use them with the app or I'd gone with an older model, fix this please, fast. Edit: blaming Android 7 doesn't make sense specially when other Bluetooth devices connect problem free Will return them within 30 days if there is no update for the app

Works works well as a during brushing app but it is very inconsistent in terms of how it is supposed to interplay with the toothbrush. Certainly not as advertised. Responding to Procter & Gamble. By interplay, I'm referring to being able to set the modes that I want available to me and determining their priority in the scheme of things on the app. Nevertheless the mode must be changed and still includes all of the modes on the toothbrush itself. **** Apparently a newer version of the app is now allowing me to show modes on the brush as dictated in the app itself. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S7 and I had originally rated this app at a 3 but now the combination of the brush and the app are both really superior and I'm enjoying it entirely. Thanks to the developers of this app and to the makers of the Oral-B electric toothbrush!***

Actually 4.5 stars. This app works well with my Oral B Black 7000 toothbrush. There are a few necessary updates I would like to see to make it perfect: The ability to edit my activity. I have had my brushing and flossing streak ruined so many times because I brush the 2nd time before bed and it technically rolled over to the next day. I accidentally skipped the prompt that asks me if I flossed - so as far as Oral B is concerned, it never happened. Also, I cannot input that I flossed without running the brush first and waiting for the prompt. Besides a lack of activity editing, it's a great app and I recommend it if you have a compatible Oral B toothbrush.

Totally useless. Doesnt connect, sit there messing around with it and it doesnt accept connection. The toothbrush is ok, but this attempt at development is shocking and brand damaging. Save time, dont even bother installing it.

Since last recent update when syncing my handle (smart series 4000) the app does not synk previous sessions, despite I'm brushing every day. With version 4.2.0 unless I brush with the app open and handle connected, sessions are not recorded. Thanks for your feedback

As with many others I can't get the handle to connect to my Moto Z Force phone. Hope this gets fixed very soon or I'll take the expensive brush back. W/o the app can brush my teeth with a much cheaper brush!

Since the latest update my smart series 6000 handle is not syncing properly with the app. Sessions go unrecorded unless I have the phone with me in the bathroom. Also the timer on the app itself often stops mid session as if I've stopped brushing even though I am still cleaning my teeth. This means I am no longer getting an accurate record of cleaning to show my dentist and is making the app pointless. Please fix your app, thanks!

Doesn't work with Android N 7.0. Six months later Oral-B updates their app and it still doesn't work, but hey they added support for Amazon Dash . Here is a idea fix the main thing this app is used for connecting your toothbrush to you phone. You would think with 2 thousand 1 star reviews you would hire app developers to fix your number 1 problem. Pfff What a JOKE!

Unfortunately, despite the wonderful gift given to me by my brother - an early release for the new Oral-B Genius brush model - the app can not and will not connect to the toothbrush no matter what I try or no matter how long I wait. Very disappointed that Oral-B commissioned such a poorly made application and yet still doesn't work out the bugs or completely renew the app itself.

Glitches were fixed.I love it and my dentist loves it! Also get news while brushing. I have to remember to turn it off in the background so it doesn't drain the battery. I love the Oral B app! And tooth brush!

Brand new toothbrush would not sync. Even uninstalled and reinstalled the app, tried multiple times to sync, and it still wouldn't connect. The toothbrush doesn't have a display so now I can't see the timer or anything anymore. Bad product, would not recommend this app to anyone.

Does not pair to LG V20. Or any other Android devices for that matter. Apparently Oral B focused on pleasing I phone users only. Worked fine for my girlfriend and her I phone. Thanks for nothing Oral B. You suck.

At first my thoughts were that this would be a waste of time and childish. However, I always find myself opening this app before I brush because of the visual timer, brush location and ease of use.

Impossible to connect Android Nexus 6 with Braun toothbrush 3764. It works with iOS but not in Android. Is a big issue, until will be fixed It will keep the 1. The app looks really nice but I can't usit

Don't work does absolutely nothing with nougat. Updated 28/03/2017 toothbrush still doesn't connect do the bloaty 40mb + update was a total waste of time

Good job my mouth does not have this many bugs! Even started timing when I was not using the brush and failed to sync last weeks use. Don't waist your money on a tooth brush that uses this application.

App crashes constantly. I already have the latest version installed and tried reinstalling it a couple times. My phone is a Moto X Force. Other problems: Cloud sync does not work, it is stuck on 15 dec 2016, tried restarting, but no success. Sync only worked the first time after installation or clean re installation. Tried turning off oral tips to try and see if this could improve things but it just ignores when set to off. It is not possible to turn content off, it is mandatory to set some option and there is not a None option.

This app is worthless. It worked OK when was first installed on Galaxy 6 EDGE plus, but now it constantly stops after 30 seconds instead of 2 minutes.I read other reviews and it looks like this is a common complaint, but OralB is doing absolutely nothing about it. Addition: doesn't sync properly, It synced many session twice, so now it shows I brushed 4 times per day for a half month. One of the worst apps I used.

After 6 months, no response from Oral B. Doesn't synch if the mode buttNJon is pressed without the charger. It doesn't sync all past sessions. Brush battery only lasts 5 days. Timer still stops for no apparent reason while brushing - even with all notifications turned off. Whenever an instructional screen shows up while I've already started brushing, the timer stops. I only bought this brush for the Bluetooth, so this problem makes it useless. Also stops with all interrupts turned off. Note 4.........

I really like the app, I just wish there was the option to edit. For example, I accidently tapped "skip" instead of complete for flossing and now I can't go back and say that actually did it.

I really like the app and my toothbrush Black 7000!! It would be nice though that we could edit tongue, floss and rince after the session in case of a mistake and have more options for the reminders as I never get them even if they are turned on.

Phone upgraded to android 7 and now will not allow synchronisation with the toothbrush. Will trigger the timer but sessions are not recorded.. Kind of defeats the object of this toothbrush.. Update on 5/3/17 have uninstalled and reinstalled the app again. Toothbrush will still not connect. Even though app notes now state android 7 optimisations have been made. Reducing rating to one star as this is now beyond a poor joke, what's the point in having an expensive toothbrush capable of all these things when the actual things you can do can be matched by a £10 one from a budget supermarket? 29/3/17 further update, app still doesn't connect properly. Now gets as far as asking me to turn the handle off to finish setting up... Still doesn't connect properly. For developer info, this is a Sony Xperia z5 premium running Android 7.0.

Very good app to keep track of your progress. Also has a function to observe your plaque and tartar control efforts, if you so wish. What prevents me from giving this 5 stars is the synched function. If the app is not open, you may lose days or a week's worth of brushing sessions. Showed the app to my dentist. She was highly impressed.

It is a very great app. My orthodontist gave me the toothbrush and the only problem with he app is sometimes it is inaccurate when it tracks my cleaning.

Position detect is poorly done. The camera detection setup is spotty and never recognizes anything until I force it to say "go back". And when I start brushing it doesn't recognize that I have started. Having to constantly setup the camera each time is just annoying.

The app doesn't connect to my toothbrush for more than 30 to 60 seconds so it consistently records inaccurate data. It's useless 4/28/17 in response to your comment- I have a Samsung S7 edge. Toothbrush is 7000 w/ bluetooth

Garbage! Will not connect at all what's the point is like paying $200 for the $30 one. Will be returning until I see the app is fixed. Come on Oral B get with it!

Used to work great and was 5 star but now after recent update not recording sessions properly ended my brushing streak. Fix the app & restore my stats

app does not work even with update. Brand new toothbrush will not connect to the app. Will connect to my phone. You need to fix it as looking at the reviews a lot of android users cannot connect. Your latest app version is not fixed. You are misleading android users.

I paid a lot of money for the Oralb 9k Thinking that I was getting something of good equality. I guess I was wrong. The app cannot pair the toothbrush.

I thought it was a ridiculous idea until I tried it. I find it helpful and encouraging and am noticing a difference after just 5 days. I love it now

The app finds my toothbrush and connects but fails to pair then searches for it again and this continues many times until I lose patience.

Does not work with Android 7. You would think with all the bad reviews regarding this issue, they would have fixed this by now!
