The PFO Shield application can be used to find your friends and family, your pet, your boat, your car… whatever you connect on google maps without emptying your mobile battery. The app only uses the battery when someone is trying to actively find you. Someone your trust and that you have allowed to see your location.
Functions:
• The classic Panic Alarm button and the innovative Pull the Plug alarm, a function that will send an alarm to chosen friends when you pull out the headset.
• Find and locate friends that have allowed you to.
• Follow alarms live on map in your mobile or though our web application on any device.
• Connect your wearables such as smartwatch, PFO FOB, boat tracker, bike tracker and more.

gps works pretty well. would be AWESOME if you could add a automatic 30sec-1min sound clip recording feature when alarm is triggered to send to your contacts like some of the other safety apps so you could shout out descriptions of attackers or what the situation is or if police/fire dept/ambulance needs to be called...

This app has a unique "pull the plug" feature, so whenever I am walking alone late at night I just plug in my headphones, so if anything were to happen I can just pull the headphones out and it will alert my emergency contacts. Fantastic, it makes me feel very safe!

Works as advertised. In contrast to other similar apps, this one is always ready to alert by pulling the headset out, even when the app is closed. Also, very good tracking feature with no impact on battery when idle.
