Grouping the areas to find symptoms is helpful, but with the set up limiting and makes it hard to get an idea of what may be going on. Many illness exhibit symptoms in multiple areas, but with this app not allowing for cross area symptom recording, it's not very thorough. Unfortunately because of this I am deleting it.

Does not give you a chance to have " search " for specific areas of question for example... i would like to have search bar to put in question or problem then go to putting area of animal - and it needs to be for any animal " birds, reptiles, etc. I had a question about " why does my dog make a coughing noise " like something is caught in throat - " search " then give possible answers like " pollen, allergies, bone or food in throat, if eating " things like that. It does'nt give enough options.

There is no option for vomiting, not eating etc. Abdomen does cover it either.

It is a very common occurance in many dogs/breeds, especially when they get excited. It usually has to do with problems with formation of the inside of the upper mouth. If it is a frequent thing, there are no other symptoms, and the dog other wise seems healthy, just try to calm the dog until it passes like someone having an asthma or panic attack. If you are concerned or there are other symptoms, difficulty eating/breathing seek a vet.

This app is horrible it does not provide a muti system check, poor selection of selectable symptoms in catagories and it pretty much gives the absolute worst case scenario for your pet, my 11 week old puppy had symptoms of intestinal worms and the app told me my dog had cirrhosis of the liver or intestinal cancer. Dont waste your time with this app, the only good thing about it is that it was free.

Omg. I was freaking out about my cute puppy because we recently got her glands squeezed because they were full and the groomer was a registered vet tech so she explained how she's a type of breed to get frequent anal glands fluid build up and she said I'd get full very frequently so I really freaked out. But this app told me everything i needed to know and reassured me im being told legit information and not being sold or lied to. Who knows.

This is a good overall program. It is great to organize your observations so you can better help your vet. Would you try to fix and diagnose your kids with a computer program that was free, no! So why would you want to try to do that to your four legged family member.

All you do is pick either dog or cat and check the symptoms. Then it provides articles for EVERY SINGLE SYMPTOM instead of the combination of symptoms and how they relate... Not helpful, take forever to find a useful article.

Really bad way to display search results by listing each symptom category(e.g. Lethargy/weakness) individually.

This app used to be good now it just force closes as soon as the first page opens.

This app has so much potential but hasn't got enough going for it yet to be of much benefit. You can only chose one body area and then select from symptoms that correlate to illness or injury involving the chosen area of the animal's body. Since illness can create many systemic symptoms throughout body, the app needs to allow users to keep adding body parts & checking off corresponding symptoms so it can provide fewer and more meaningful results.

I just wanted to know why my dog was sneezing and coughing. They said it was cancer or heart failure. I just wanted to know what I could do for a doggie cold!

There are so many parts of the body. Why are not all of them listed? By the way, no my cat's abscess is not cancer. This dumb thing is useless don't waste your time.

I like the app. I would like if this application went in better detail on the Dogs issue.

If you input symptoms of something like GI obstruction, it links you to articles about liver fibrosis and cancer...wtf?! Terrible...just call your vet or local ER vet if you are not sure what's going on with your pet...

The reason why I chose this is because of the webMD Symptom Checker for people (that usually is awesomel however this one does not allow you to pick multiple symptoms in multiple areas of the cats body so you have to kind of diagnose on your own and to read through them which is fine but I could do that on Google gathering my own information it would be nice to have a multiple symptom feature.

Luv this app. Really helps to gives you an idea whats going on with your pets.

This ap is sub par IMO bc multiple areas cannot be selected simultaneously ie; chest and abdominal symptoms. Also specific areas cannot be selected. .. as in lungs or heart. One of my rescues passed away 2 days ago and I'm seeking answers. He was exceptionally well cared for and visited the vet often as he was malnourished and depressed when he came into our care. His health issues seemed to diminish and I woke to find his body. I am miserably distraught & I want to find clues as to what killed him

My cat urinated outside of her litterbox for the first time ever and showed no other symptoms. The only illness it came up with was urinating outside the litterbox and wandering away from home (marking territory). My cat is indoors only and had never been outside so how does this help? There are a lot of other reasons why a cat urinates outside of their litterbox.

Well gotta say i seen littlle more info on here than talking with person on website. The only people that rate this place good is the people that are affiliated with it. They are absolutely general in all info. Specializing in just giving enough info, so ya gotta pay money to get the final answer. If ya care for ya animal, dont deal with these cons, thats my opinion of course

Multiple articles, after identifying symptoms.

Downloaded the app to check on my sick pup. Unfortunately this app is useless if your pet is having symptoms in say the behaviour section, stomach and skin section. There should be a way you can 1. Choose all symptoms from every area , 2. Have more symptoms to choose from, and 3. Be able to pin point a few possibilities it could be instead of scaring the reader. We don't want to be scared into going to the vet if we don't have to nor do we want to be scared our little companion isn't going to make it!

Waaayyyyy too vague for my taste. Keep working and create an app for the higher educated. Theres a lot of us.

Ineffective. Not enough basic symptoms listed to even get started finding your animals ailment. And when you list head and ears and itching and head shaking and don't even list ear mites or fleas... Hey. Better apps and sites are available. Uninstalling!

Only allows you to choose one symptom area, making the 'diagnosis' process too broad. Really irritating to have to shuffle through so many articles.

Not all of us are vets. You can only put in symptoms for one area of the body. And if you check something like nausea you'll get all kinds of over complicated things. You then have no idea where to start except to panic because everything sounds like death. Useless to me.

It works great, I use it a lot since I am a dog trainer. Some issues that are uncommon I can't find on the site, but apps like this are hard to manage, due to massive content that must be written out.

I have had my Vet on "speed dial" for some time now. With this amazing app I can find out answers even when the Vet's office is closed.

The frequent, full-page ads are obnoxious. Do you have something against less obtrusive banner ads?
