pesaDroid Free is a simple Android app that keeps track of your MPESA transactions and helps you to generate monthly statements from your mobile money transfer history. This is our free edition, which we have code named Bwerere.
Many of our users use Bwerere to organize their expenses into groups and to safely store their transactions in case they have to delete the SMS to create more space in their memory. Our app also allows them to attach a note to each transaction, so that they can remember the reason for sending money.
We have also introduced a backup and restore feature to enable our users to move their data from one phone to another. Privacy obviously is an important concern for our users. We do not collect any information without the explicit consent of our users. Our app is restricted from accessing the Internet so you can rest assured that we can never acquire any of your financial information. The emailing feature depends on whichever application you have installed in your system - and the messages are sent only to the email address that you select.

At pesaDroid, we believe that you should let your phone do more work for you and let you focus on the things best done by you; hence our company builds apps that enable you to attain this. While our products primarily cater for users in Kenya, we not only cater for Kenyan users; we are working on solutions for Tanzanian, Afghan and DRC users of M-PESA and other mobile money transfer systems. The app updated to v0.5.0 and on update, it flushed all records and is now stuck on importing sms up to mid last year.. unfortunately i did not back up the db before update. Uninstalling , clearing cache and reinstalling doesnt help the import procedure.

I use a Galaxy Tab 7.0 plus. Had issues with viewing previous months statements bcoz Pesadroid would crash. Have upgraded to ICS and that problem is gone. However, still unable to export or save to SD. I especially like the ability to trawl through the inbox to retrieve transactions. Kip it up! EDIT: On Samsung Galaxy S Duos the new update gets stuck at a particular point in time when importing sms from inbox. The previous version was working just fine, and then this! Am taking away 1 star till this is fixed.

The M-PESA assistant has three tabs to allow you to transact with people in your call log, people in your contacts list and people you have transacted with before.
