Word List

Poor

Imported my csv file smoothly. But this produces a list of words. There seems no way to turn these all into flashcards except one by one, obviously not acceptable for a large file...

It's worthless when there's no internet connection cos first we download the words in Exam Prep section with an active connection and when, after disabling the internet, you try to check the GRE, GMAT and SAT words it prompts you need an internet connection to view the list. Then why did you make us download it?

Now that words can be alphabetized, I enjoy this app even more. The ability to delete a word from flash card list in the edit mode rather than having to delete an entire flash card to remove an undesired word is the only feature I would suggest for enhancment. As it is, you're only able to add words to the flash card, not delete a word from flash card. Nevertheless, It is great for keeping a word diary for referencing & studying. Really a valuable resource to me. Thanks Dev!

Could you explain how I can find the backup file on SD card? I would like to find the file and transfer the list to another device... thanks! Otherwise, I find it a good app, maybe you can make a paid version, with technical support and remove the ad. Like others said, this is the only app which allows me to make a custom dictionary.

Hi, everything is awesome about this app one thing that seems not eyesome but eyesore to me is the user interface. Please developers buck up the interface and then guarantee of 5 stars from my side

Unable to backup the wordlist. Please provide the screen shots and how to find backup files under "Read more" section. The users will not have to scan through all the reviews to find your response to back up issues. Please help.

Love this app but i cant back up to my SD card..what happen?

It is not easy to find the backup file because the folder and file's label is backup and you do many backups with different apps. It's time for move to the cloud, this is the best way to use the app in 2 devices at the same time or change them easily.

Thanks or creating this useful app.I was able to create a custom dictionary with my csv file containing around 100,000 words with definition. My only problem, it loads very slowly and also while typing word to search. I hope you could fix this problem.

Thanks for providing this for us! Would just like to suggest: 1. The star rating can be positioned underneath the word instead of beside the meanings, so as to allow the meaning column to to expand (in vertical mode). But that might look messy too; up to you. Thank you

This is the only app I've been able to find where I can create a custom word list with definitions, so it gets 3 stars for that. Sadly the adverts always cover the bottom of the list with no way to remove them, the word lists are added backwards from a file with no way of changing the ordering in the flash card menu, accented characters aren't supported, and the interface is somewhat clunky. If these were fixed and a quiz mode added my rating would be much higher.

If you're a disorganised teacher this is for you! If you're studying, this is for you! If I was a disorganised teacher (erm...) It'd be great to be able to correlate word lists to particular students/classes. (Also, it may be prudent to include 'AWL' (Academic word list) to your search terms - Great for TOEFL, SAT, IELTS etc. Tx

Nice idea, BUT it does not show the entire meaning of the words saved. You have to long press the word to see its full length explanation. And that's annoying. UNINSTALL. >>>>>>>>>>>>>LATER EDIT: Albeit there are some improvements, there is STILL not a search function and the overall layout seems... dilettante. I've gave it a second chance BUT... that's IT. Have look at a better apk *(List Master by Code Fusion Mobile Software) to see what I mean.
