All this does is take you to the system app screen, where you "force stop" the app. Does nothing to "freeze" the app, so if you want to stop a built-in app from updating (eg Microsoft Office apps) this doesn't work.

There's a music app on this phone, Alcatel One Touch Fierce XL (running lollipop 5.1.1) And that douchewaffle of an app is called mix. Every time I plug in my headphones it wants to start up in addition to the Google music. This will not freeze it. It says it's marked to freeze, hit the snowflake, then it says freezing. Aaaaaaaaand then Mix is still going so buh bye.

It works and it tells you how it to freeze very easy to understand. But its a waste of time and space on your phone, i say this because you can only freeze apps you could already disable with out the app.

I've froze apps over and over and they do not freeze. When I've had root on my other devices the app freeze worked perfectly, but this is not freezing any apps.
