The periodic table of the elements describes the atomic structure of all the elements known to man. For example, by looking at the periodic table, one can find out how many elements of electron and how much it weighs.
Each element has its own separate group of such data; no two the same element. Thus, if a person is not sure what the problem he has, he can see the atomic structure of matter, compare it with the information in the periodic table, and identify materials with matching to the elements above the table with the same data.

The elements in the periodic table are grouped in classes and a certain period (vertical and horizontal lines). The elements in each group or period have the same or different characteristics. Table thus provides a quick reference to what elements might behave the same chemically, or who may have the same mass or atomic structure.

The information contained in the periodic table (such as atomic weight and any similar elements) allow scientists to know how to put together the elements of atoms and how they will behave. Once scientists understand these data, they can apply it in an experiment. This experiment can be something as simple as combining hydrogen and oxygen to make water, or they can be as dramatic as making a hydrogen bomb.
Classification
The periodic table can be used to identify the problems that have been discovered by mankind. However, if a new case is found, then the atomic structure of the new material can be compared with the elements in the table to classify the new material. Scientists can use the data in the table to find out how new things can behave or what new elements that may resemble through this comparison.
