PerfExpert - Car Onboard Dyno & Timer allows you to measure the performances of your car, such as its real power, torque, and acceleration times. It doesn’t require any connection to your car. Results are provided as detailed reports featuring interactive charts.
How does PerfExpert dyno works ? It's simple :
1. Create your car profile => Describe your car to PerfExpert by providing information such as curb weight, tire sizes or engine displacement. If you don't know how to find your car's specifications, we help you to do so.
2. Mount your phone in your car => No need to connect your phone to your car. With your phone firmly mounted inside your car, PerfExpert can rely on its internal sensors to measure the real acceleration of your car.
3. Accelerate through the entire engine rev range => On a flat, straight and horizontal road, perform an acceleration from low rev to the maximum rev, keeping the same gear : that's it!
IMPORTANT : dyno test is not compatible with automatic gearboxes that doesn't have a manual mode.
With such a tool, you can check the efficiency of your various tunings, ECU mapping, chiptuning, and even your chassis settings.
Using the specification of the tested car and your device’s accelerometer, the application runs our algorithms and dynamic power loss calculations to provide the performances of your car with high accuracy.

AWESOME APP !!! It does what is says. Tried on Renault 2.2 dci, and Toyota Avensis Verso 2.0 d4d, and on both cars everything was in specs. It's amazing how this thing is so accurate. gave different results on the same car every time i tested it. the same car, the same road,the same gear and acceleration and weather, difference in hp mainly whiles torque was more or less ok

at first when i ran it multiple times it gave the same reading give or take 1-3 bhp so i took that as being quite accurate, at least as a comparison tool to look at the effect of any upgrades even if it wasnt exactly correct. i tested it 2 days back and ran 3 checks under the same conditions and got 3 different readings which were all way different to a month back with no changes in between. has an update messed it up?

Originally gave it one star because it didn't have my car, then the developer contacted me and had it put in, still missing several cars, including every Acura except mine, so it might not be worth it for someone with an Integra, but I don't tally know how it works, so...yeah, get this app.

2 things need improvement: ; tires sizes for motorcycles are not available so you must find equivalent tire heights for sizes; e.g. 180/55/18 == 245/35/19 ; must do metric/empirical conversions yourself.

HI GUYS IV BEEN USING SOFTWARE WITH NEW PLATFORM AND REALLY DONT LIKE IT...... OW CAN I HAVE THE ORIGINAL VERSION BACK AS IV FOUND THAT THE NEWER VERSION ISNT REALLY VERY CLOSE TO ACCURATE. SO CAN I HAVE OLDER VERSION BACK AS THIS WAS FAR BETTER. CHEERS SHANE

Found it to work getting specs higher than what it's sposedly should have for my set up. 350whp 360wtq these are ethanol #s not the pump gas that I'm running but all in all a fun app. Maybe I'm just a better tuner than I think I am.

I've tried several times to see how accurate it is, and I know my doesn't make almost a 1000hp.... way off. Paid for an app to give a false reading.
