Neat idea, but only works when the app is running in the foreground with the screen on. This renders it essentially useless, as it prevents the phone from sleeping (thus draining the battery), and also renders the phone extremely vulnerable to accidental input while in a pocket. Not practical for its intended use as currently implemented, but certainly has potential if this issue is fixed.
