Dawn - Official Mobile App

Dawn news app is crashing, not launching at all giving message that network connection is slow or not working. All apps on my cell is working and network connection is also working fine. Please resolve

Piece of crap... Won't open... says connection is slow... I can stream 1080p without hassle

What's the point of this app if we get to read news on the browser , plus I can't even enable the notification for the breaking news . The app is the worst now . Fix it

Comment section takes too long to load even when there are no comments. The app also crashes. I hope it will be better in the future.

Barely functional app. Doesn't augment the website, just displays stories from there. No content appears in the Magazine section.

Breaking news alert switch off no matter how many times I switxh it on

previous version was better than this. bookmark is not working. even many times the dawn paper doesn't open. kindly solve it. regards!

The breaking news enable option automatically turn off even if u turned it on.

A really bad effort by Dawn with this app. It crashes, sometimes doesn't load properly. Looks like just an effort to be available in the apps category by the newspaper. I suggest them to take it down rather than ruin their reputation with this clumsy effort. Ironically the app has ads of their own app running in between the news stories

This app does denies me to find the editorial/opinion portion or infact any particular part of the news paper for that matter. Kindly upgrade the tab of 'Newspaper' to let us go surf through the news easily. Also add a search option in your application.

Previous version ws quite sound regarding bookmark section while this one crashes when someone's open. Also this app should be made compatible with repspect to split screen view. Some people, including me, do consult dictionary while using Dawn. Since andriod's updating to Marshmallow, this app should be considered for ammendments as well.

This version is having many bugs. It crashes while doing bookmarks. Also force closes many times while reading. Moreover, the World section never loads properly. I consider it as an operating system. But actually it is app bug. Tested it on Nougat and Kit Kat of Android versions. Same behaviour at both.

99% Disliked bcs when I click to read its explanation then it shows to read on web. If it was not possible then why added its explanation pics.? What a important issue didn't solve. Yeah It would be much better if the explanation problem was solved. Team should must add the explanation process as soon as possible as it's the scrumptious newspaper of Pakistan. Otherwise, it would be like to throw dust in one's eyes & it's a blackmailing & black marketing which is stamped out in Jinnah views on Constitution.

Pls improve the interface of your app as these morons polluting times of India ..poke their noses in our internal matters ..and comment lots of hatred that is not needed. And Pakistan you're not welcome in TOI App stay away. Illiterate dumb and bunch of frustrated ppl. You can't keep clean your own home and dont let other to live in peace and harmony. Dont comment inappropriate and divide our unity since we in india hindu muslim sikh christian and many live with pride unity peace and harmony. Learn then only come to us. Sincere request From India

Its just going a useless app TOI is better than Dawn news. No latest news update or not time to time update all day. No complete newspaper. U must have to reply app maker

I think U are paid for glorifying your boss INDIA and you don't let any stone unturned to malign if u find something against Pakistan..

Dawn has made an earnest effort in improving the GUI of the app but i hv been facing one problem since long. While reading the article if one switches between apps and then gets back to reading the article then the back key will close the app instead of getting back to the homepage i.e Top News or Opinion etc. However, that's a small problem which in no way demotes the effectiveness of the app

Limits reading. Hard to find older stories. Features,articles and op eds not given prominence. Feels like a blind alley 15 story news display. Live up to the paper's reputation, folks!

This app must support multiwindow function. Besides reading any article one can use another app (browser,dictionary etc). So please add this function by the next update .

Consistently crashing after the recent update.. Won't even start.. Notification: "slow connection" appears and app crashes.

Crashes frequently. Articles do not expand sometimes but rather give you an online link. Should be an option to give it less than one star.

This update sucks. Please update it. Previous version was way better. This one is useless. It takes ages to open and crashes time to time.

This worked pretty well previously on my Samsung S6. Now it has stopped working completely from the past few days. Messge appears 'connection slow or not working'. Nothing has changed with the hardware.

First the opinion and editorial was included but now no opinion option in the official App of dawn, plzzz include opinion and editorial in this app I will give 5 star thanks

This app is not as fascinating as TOI(times of india) ..its dry n dull with no global information. i would suggest admin to go through TOI app once...add articles about history , science,geography..facts about world,people n their way of life Etc etc...plz make it interesting just like TOI.thanks

After recent updates this app got really messed up. Every time when I open the app to read the news after few seconds it shuts itself down. Final words.. It's a crappie

I just can not read my bookmarks. Every time i open a bookmark it crashes. Please solve this. This was not the case in previous version. New update is ridiculously wasteful.

Recently, it keeps crashing. Error: Slow Connection or something or other. Have attempted to reboot my device, reinstall the app, check all battery manager ignore lists etc by turns. Nothing.

5 stars if the Openion Section Remains intact. Rather it is missing in latest updates which is very disappointing. Please Fix this issue as early as possible.

Kindly incorporate finding option so that articles could be searched regarding a certain topic

There is no search button for searching old random articles..no option for saving fav articles, plz add these feature too..

Expected a lot from Dawn app but other available apps like dailymail are far better.

Previous version far better than this one. Please, work on it

If you are looking for a pocket news app, it's probably best, with latest news to blogs and catagory wise news.
