Secure your data

Il sistema operativo Android fornisce vari modi per, in nostra assenza, bloccare lo schermo del telefonino e impedire, ad estranei, l’accesso ai dati dei nostri cellulari. Ce ne sono con Password, PIN, Trascinamento (Slide), ecc. Nell’insieme è un sistema che offre ottime possibilità di difesa dei nostri dati specialmente se si sceglie di utilizzare la protezione con Password o con PIN.  Il problema nasce dal fatto che se, per esempio, abbiamo deciso di proteggere i nostri dati con una Password complessa per impedire ad eventuale estranei, in nostra assenza, di entrare a curiosare nel nostro telefonino, poi questa Password ci verrà chiesto di immetterla troppe  volte durante la giornata. Questa cosa risultando fastidiosa alla maggior parte degli utenti, fa sì che poi solo pochi proteggono  in maniera decente i propri dati. Lo scopo di questa app “Secure your data” è proprio quello di permettere la difesa dei propri dati nei modi migliori forniti da Android senza aver però il fastidio di dover ripetutamente inserire Password complesse, PIN o altro.
In pratica “Secure your data” vi permette di avere nel telefonino, contemporaneamente, due tipi di protezione: una non sicura (tipo Trascinamento) per quando il telefono è con voi, una più sicura (tipo Password) per quando, per vari motivi, vi dovete allontanare dal cellulare.
Quando dovete allontanarvi dal telefonino, con un semplice click sul tasto LockNow della vostra app il cellulare viene bloccato con uno ScreenLock sicuro (Password complessa). Una volta poi che viene immessa la Password, volendo questo significare che noi siamo di nuovo presenti, il telefonino ritorna automaticamente alla protezione meno sicura e meno fastidiosa (trascinamento).
Inoltre se dimenticate il cellulare a casa o in ufficio, “Secure your data” vi permette di bloccarlo a distanza con un SMS, proprio come se aveste clickato sul pulsante LockNow della vostra app.  
Con la tecnica degli SMS è anche possibile resettare il cellulare a distanza cancellando così tutti i suoi dati, anche quelli in eventuali memorie esterne.
La cancellazione dei dati naturalmente non è lo scopo principale di questa app che è invece nata per difenderli i tuoi dati. Però, nel caso il cellulare sia stato rubato o smarrito e non si desidera che in qualche modo i nostri dati vengano visti da estranei, può essere utile anche distruggerli.

Mettendo questo widget su una pagina del vostro cellulare, se ne toccate l’cona, un comando verrà inviato a “Secure your Data” che farà scattare immediatamente lo ScreenLock, senza dover aprire la app “Secure your Data” )

Attenzione: La password predefinita è 12345. Se quindi premete il tasto LockNow prima di avere impostato la vostra nuova password, questo è il valore che dovete immettere per sbloccare il telefonino.

Note: The default password is 12345. If you then press the LockNow before you set up your new password, this is the value that you must enter to unlock the phone.
