TPO Settings for Android
The application requires you to be a TPO customer and have an activated TPO SIM in your device. Go to http://www.thepeoplesoperator.com/ to get a TPO SIM and to activate your SIM.

The app won't send the text for me to set up data despite several tries and patient waiting. Every time I try to do manual set up the app crashes, I still can't get data which is essential for me. Please help
I'm on a pay monthly. Went through the reviews, because there weren't any sort of fixes online. Read that I had to access point name from "tslpaymnet" to "tslpaygnet" - worked. Didn't like App - as I had to do the work it was supposed to do anyways. My plan was 4G - currently its on 3G .... also been waiting 40 minutes for chat to operator on live chat (no response)
Spoke to a helpful person in customer services who said to try changing the access point name from "tslpaymnet" to "tslpaygnet" and then it worked.
Poor and throttled service. 3rd test 0.1 and 0.8 speed and these were the fast results! Thank god its just a month and I didn't port my number. 72 hours for email reply and 30min wait on 0845 with no answer!! Get a grip. This company has ties with Labour, Unions and the thugs known as Unite. No thanks!
I emailed customer service and one of the most helpful person said try PAYG instead of Pay Monthly and I downloaded to package and it worked immediately. Try asking for help guys...
Only issue was when it inputted automatically my mobile number, after the 44 I had to remove the 0. Simples
Wow! so they built an app that tells me what to type into the settings page.... Or I could have just searched for them my self and typed them in.
Didn't work and still dosent with tpo settings but can still connect with using ee settings
It tells me to enter my phone number. Then it sends me a text to download the application that I already own. Whenever I try to use the manual bit, it crashes!! USELESS
Is supposed to send you a sms with some configuration explanations but it never arrives.

As per the title: it's totally useless, crashes almost always and has NEVER sent an SMS after many attempts. Don't bother wasting your time.
Never got text. Kept crashing. Customer service didn't have a clue. Had to go on a Geek site for the Internet settings
Wish I had done a lil homework before ordering. Avoid if you are doing yours and reading the reviews.

What's the point in this if it doesn't work?
This app is next to useless as all it does is tell you what settings should be and takes you to the settings page. The manual settings did not work for me but data is enabled on EE's default settings that came up on my phone, so I am keeping those APN's and will see what happens.
Ended up cancelling my contract! Online system is crap, morons on the phone are crap and rude! This app doesn't work and took me 2 weeks to get my internet set up.
App claims to have sent text message but none received - then crashes when I select manual setup. Why does this need an app? Why not just send the settings automatically by text or by text reply?

Can't receive texts or calls. send me a new sim and still can't. how exactly do I update my settings if I can't get texts and everytime I click manual there's an error and it crashes. Rung you up. No idea. Try turning it off and on again. If I can ring you then it clearly is a network issue and on and off is not a solution. Still need an answer/solution. Been like this over a week and now you send me a bill. What am I paying for.
Installed got the text to install. Downloaded but when I go the app it takes me back to start where it tell me it sent configuration. Cmon get your act toget

This app failed to enable MMS send or receive on Samsung Galaxy S4 or brand new Nokia handset. TPO customer service is worse than the app. 1 year on and still no MMS.
I have had the new update, it keeps force closing, I have no signal and no internet if I turn my wifi off. Since the first update I've been left not able to use my phone.
Its time we had an app to check our account now like o2 has or a way of txting to find out like orange & ee have?

Application crashes every single time and the setup SMS it supposed to send only does so 50% of the time... and that still does not configure the APN settings correctly. There's manual settings to be found online, but they to do not work. Really poor first impression TPO...
