Presence

When Presence is working, it is fabulous. Unfortunately it only works about 1/3 the time. I spent hours troubleshooting the multiple problems. Sometimes after maybe an hour of not working, it mysteriously starts working. Call up the app and the screen shows black. Back out of the app and back in and same black screen. Third try without changing any settings, it works fine. Sometimes it is working fine then just quits with no changes. Etc etc etc. This will be a great app when they get the bugs out.

Had this set up looking at a hermit crab tank for one night. It recorded a cord movement I did at 11:26pm and then repeated that same recording twice during the night. Once at 11:56pm and again at 4:07am after I had already gone to bed. Some videos don't play at all. (I have a Samsung Galaxy S7, not an obscure phone model.) Navigating through the recordings is clunky and very frustrating. Rarely leave reviews but this was worth the time.

Love this app thank you. I have had it for about half a year now cause I just couldn't trust this guy living in our house. I have caught him going thru all my draws, Stealing money, checking my wardrobe. The only thing I would ask for is a longer recording time because it only does it for 1miniute and So Want start up again for a while. But thank you, this has helped me out heaps to get him kicked out!!

This app was working great until today and now all of a sudden it stopped working on all my devices. We really liked it to. Please fix! Maybe it was the latest update?

Meh. Its just too unreliable..cant view the recordings. No way im upgrading to the paid version if this if so rubbish. Want to use it as a security camera abd it just can't be relied on. Update. Left 3 cameras running. 2 went off line for no reason. The remaining one can't be connected to via web pc nor app. Its a great idea but pretty buggy if you actually need to use the devices to protect against theft etc.

Used to work great, but maybe an update bug or something (like forcing users to upgrade) has ruined it. Camera looks like it's streaming, but doesn't connect, keeps crashing...hopefully they can fix.

So far so good. I'm very grateful for presence to help catch the varmints in my garage. Works best with a decent wifi signal. Thank you Presence!!

The one-star reviews are adding up. My remote cameras can't stay connected. Been using it for about a year probably but now it's useless.

Overall, sensational concept BUT Keyboard keeps popping up over video. Can't set areas that don't trigger alerts, like items which blow in the wind.

Latest update breaks it. Now it doesn't work. You'd think they would test this first but I guess not

Spent hours getting all settings tweaked and was considering upgrading to Pro. Then today, all settings reset, there's a 5 minute countdown timer that starts between each record session and streaming reconfigured. Now I'm looking for another app.

Unreliable. Camera records sometimes, others not. Just stopped recording some days all together. Stop adding features and fix the dang bugs.

This is the best app for Android or iOS devices that are old but still useful. I can see everything from anywhere with this app. Definitely gives me a piece of mind and the free security we need to stay safe.

Works well and as declared. Minor bugs with some phones but I found the tricks to get my cameras working. It needs two things to become a very successful app. More push by the developers to improve some features and fix minor issues, as well as the end-users' support to find even more users. I will recommend it to my social network. By far, one of the best monitoring apps out there.

I don't usually write reviews but this app is awesome and I can't believe it's free. I set my Ipad in the corner of my bedroom. I switch the button to motion sensor on from my cell phone when I leave my house and it sends a notification if anyone enters. I know it works because I soon as I open my bedroom door, my phone dings with a notification and then I watch the video of myself entering my room. Definitely a piece of mind when I leave the house. Thanks!

Its dumb didn't work on any of my androids Fix the problem I mean if you are going to have a game or an app. Then it should work.Come One

Camera turns to black screen, nothing is recorded and camera cannot be connected to on my note 3 EVERY TIME within about an hour or two after I restart the camera from last black screen. Absolutely 100% unusable, repot ed bug multiple times and still no update. Wish I could use this for the other angle I need covered., works fine on my iPad 2 and iPhone 7. Still has failed to record anything at all due to crashes before I need it.

I used to love Presence; it was quick & reliable. No longer can I trust it. Video quality even seems to have degraded. I've moved to 'Alfred' where the video is far better & I don't have to worry about it not working. Good things never last.

Would have given this 5 stars but latest app update has blocked access to the iPods we were using as cameras until those are updated. Some compatability between app versions would be nice especially when the app updated in the middle of the day.

Works well on IOS but locks up on HUDL

I've only been using it for a day, but so far so good. There has been a bit of confusion on my part, but after reading the directions to make sure my camera stays on, I think I've got the kinks hammered out. My camera has been running for a few hours now without interruption and I've finally got the motion alerts figured out. Fingers crossed this continues to work without interruption during the times I'm away from home.

Been testing this app for a few days before committing to PRO. Running both android and Iphone on the same wifi network with Zero drops, never had to reboot yet, which is a huge ➕. A bit of a learning curve to set up the rules. Overall very pleased. Lots of potential for expansion.

Much improved! Not bad for a free app. Been running this on an iPhone 4s for months now. Reconnects after power/wifi/internet outages. Neat way to repurpose old hardware. Thanks.

The idea is great. When I go to watch my recorded videos, there's no sound. Also, I'm not able to find the stored videos after I save them.

Nice when it wants to work.. have to repeatedly close and reconnect to get a picture. Don't know why.. please fix. Refresh rate is really slow.

Every time I select use this app as a camera it crashes and logs me out.

So far this has been very straight forward and very simplistic , but yet powerful enough for most needs.

The app will not work i spend all of that time setting it up and it keeps closing before it even opens. This app is useless, not recommending it.

Buggy as hella with way too many glitches. When in the "rules" section if you hit the phones back button the app force closes every time, give me a break what a poor excuse for an application. It would be zero stars but the price alone earned it two stars. Seriously though, try harder this thing is barely beta status, figure it out already. . .

Perfect for my needs. Easy to setup. Not the prettiest, but does exactly what is intended.
