Penzu

Great app for journaling. I LOVE the idea of an internet journal, but security was a concern. Not with Penzu. I love that it syncs quickly and you can customize text, add long quotes and pictures. It is so much easier and calmer to type on a computer than keep a journal open and in a comfortable position. Penzu I give 5 stars, but the app loses a star for two things that aren't there. 1) timestamp. This is a big one for me. You can add a timestamp on the computer so I can say, write at 8am and say so. Then write again at 4pm and add an afternoon paragraph to the same entry. This is not available on the app. 2) you can't start writing with a prompt in the app.

It's awesome. The app is easy enough to use. And the bonus of being able to lock my writings is even better. However to pay to have more than one journal is something that personally bothers me. But 4 stars still

It would be nice if I could rotate my photos after inserting them. They always come in sideways. Also subtracting a star for all the times I've lost an entry because it only seems to save when I back out of an entry. Wrote for half an hour once, accidentally tapped something that popped up a window asking if I wanted to upgrade to pro, I said no, it had me re-enter my code and when it went back to my entry, most of it was gone. Not cool.

Please make it user friendly and have more features. I cannot even select a number of entries to share/delete. Too simplistic and cant do much either. Dunno why i hv hundreds of empty entries repetitively and now pissed off coz i have to select one by one to delete. So annoying

It wasn't using penzu for a while, came back, note can't login (renew your account), can't sign up (your email was used before), and there is no button renew your account

Hi, there are errors with syncing and over the past days there is an "Unclaimed Entries" journal created among my other journals... Please assist to fix this thanks!

My Husband and i love having this to share. Sometimes it's hard to say things when you worry about hurting each other's feelings. Plus he travels a lot so this is a great communication tool.

It has nice features but the subscription is not great and the interface is very old looking. It doesn't follow any of the design rules of the last few years (this still look like gingerbread stuff).

The best simple journaling app I have used, secure and simple, just what I want. The only thing I would add is auto spell check.

I have penzu on my note book and on my cell . When I have something to jot down that suddenly popped into thought, penzu is THERE. I love it

I like using the problem. It would be great to change fonts while making an entry from the phone.

Penzu is ay-may-zing. I'm SO happy they updated the app, because now you can use the mobile app on your phone for FREE. No more charge. I got "penzu plus" so I can make unlimited journals (dedicated to different topics) and keep everything organized. I have a Penzu journal for Science, a Penzu journal for Finance. A Penzu journal for my private life and a Penzu Journal for Goals. It's so much easier to keep track of everything now. I LOVE PENZU.

Its very good just one issue i am facing whenever i type it overwrite previous character (overtype) i dont know how to stop this, i am able to write properly with same keyboard having issue only in this app. note : i am using Google indic(indian language) keyboard

Great app. Love the fact that I can have access to write anytime anywhere but feels very secure and private. i've never written as much as I have now I have this journal.

Helped in so many ways conventional thinking could not understand.

I only wish there were more design options for people who don't use pro (Like Me)! Other than that I really love it. It's very organized and I love that it keeps track of the date as well!!

Pass code keeps failing on app which makes it very frustrating to use whilst wanting to keep private.

I love it no ads although the syncing circle comes up when I'm about to click on the diary entry I want to edit and when it has the Syncing circle it takes up to 5 minutes for it to load but other than that it's COOL

I love being able to write in my journals whenever I want too. No more carrying an actual journal on me that can be lost or damaged. So easy to use and journals can be locked to keep private.

Helped me achieve new year's resolution. Ability to use on computer and phone is useful. Have started adding gratitude-s here - life is better with this site/app.

Really simple to use and doesn't have any limits like other diary apps. Better than just a phone app because you can access it on any computer/phone/tablet.

Needed to reset my password ,wouldn't let me if I upgrade which I don't want to do. Please remedy this problem , I would gladly change the rating ,otherwise this would have been a great app.

Only using the free version, but it is easy to use and has enough basic features to let me do everything I want to keep an electronic journal.

I dont have enough money for Pro, but still I'm thankful.

Nice ui so far. A little restricted with formatting options vs computer version. Regardless, it meets my basic needs when I type on the go

The app does not work I can't enter my password.

The Android app lacks a lot of things. Formatting, decent UI, basic functionality, but I am confident it will get better.

I write to God every morning and tell Him EVERYTHING! WITH Penzu I never have to worry about someone seeing it! I love it! Thank you

Helps me evaluate my frustrations

Very convenient, easy to use with great abilito customize with fonts and images

Able to write and put away as desired, then come right back to where I left off. Handy!

Works well for me. I can start my writing on my computer and then I can add to it on my phone or tablet

Quick n easy. Feels secure with PIN and timeout features. Has good formatting, just needs auto capitalisation.

Great, but for price trap. I mean if I miss a day I need pro version to go back

It's great and private. It is also very easy to use. But, you do need to pay to get the upgrade. But, it is free.

Should have done this years ago, and this app is the best.
