There seems to be a lot of translation issues both with the mobile app and their hardware card scanner (had at a previous job). I'm a relatively fast typist and can enter in information in an Excel spreadsheet for import faster than the app if I have a large stack of cards (20 or more but attempted roughly 300 at the time of this review). I too have had duplication issues in the past with Google contacts but used their procedures for deleting duplicates.

I have been using World Card for years, well worth the few dollars for the purchase. Rarely misses a capture and transfers to whichever address book I need to contact. If you receive business cards frequently this app is for you. Git rid of the clutter, instantly make the information usable.

This was a truly excellent app, until a recent update just automatically synced it with ALL of my other contact lists which it could find, and now it is so bloated and cluttered and cumbersome to use that I'm going to uninstall it once I've synced it's data with one of my other contact lists. What a pity, I used to use this app all the time. Oh well, I guess they've outsmarted themselves here.

Constant crashes. Camera does not focus. Poor translations. Will not sync with alternative business contacts in Outlook.

I really like this app. I have it store my contacts to my Google contacts as a backup. I am a picture thinker so being able to see the card and the person's name is what I need. As said before this does a great job of transferring information from the picture. If the cards are too artistic or written in cursive you will have to manually entered them.

Every contact I save has the first and last names reversed. It is not just the way they are displayed, but in the contacts, it populated the first name field with the last name, and similar for the last name. If this flaw were fixed, I would use it all of the time, but if I have to edit every one, I may as well enter in the rest of the information. I have the full, purchased version. I would really like to use it if store the name properly.

Constant crashes, freezing during scan. Used to love the app. Am now contemplating to dump it completely if no solution is made soon

Facing frequent failure of the application while using. I am unable to synchronize this app with my Gmail account since 24th April 2015. Please look into this matter as soon as possible.

Loved the app but now it shuts down every time I take a pic of a card. Samsung Galaxy s5. Using paid version

I had iPhone version and it was fine. Android version on HTC One isn't worth the effort. Faster just to type cards into Outlook.

I have been using this app for quite some time now and was quite happy. Recently I started having some serious sync issues. The company developed three separate updates only for me to help me with issues and finally was successful. I was on the brink of giving up but they would not. Note 3.

Z70%

First Google didn't recognise this as a purchased item. Secondly, the ability to trim a photo doesn't seem to work anymore..... Using Samsung Note 4

Z70%
by Z####:

A quality app to input business cards on the go. I like that I can categorize (i.e. specific to a meeting, trade show or organization) in the app and download into my main contact database. Scanning two-sided cards is easy. A large amount of business cards at a once can get cumbersome to "verify"/proof, but I take a photo of each one quickly and return as time allows to proof the info. The OCR function is pretty accurate as long as a card's layout isn't too artistic or has too much info crammed on it.

Z70%
by Z####:

Take a picture with your camera on the phone, and it straightens, lightens and it saves the card to your card holder. It does an incredible job of recognizing the various categories and putting the information into the correct categories for storage in your contacts on the phone. The app works really well, there are no problems at all! Truly a great product, highly recommended.

It is a good app. However, since the last update it crashes every time it starts scanning a card.... I have a GNexus running Android 4.1.1.

This software was recommended to me by one of our business partners and I've immediately bought the app. I’m a commercialist for a company which makes welding machines and robots and I travel all across Europe. I exchange business card daily and there was no way for me to store them all. I’ve used to scan them manually, save the pictures in folders, and retype all the info to Google Contacts. Now, with having this app, I can see what a waste of time that was. I get the same results now as before (including synchronization with Google Contacts), but I save at least 5 minutes per contact!! That’s the best part, so thank you guys for developing this app, and making my life easier.

Focus was a problem for my Galaxy s5 running Kitkat 4.4.2. When I turned flash to "on" the focus engaged and I got a good clear scan with pretty good results in the information fields.

This was previously working on My Note 2 but since a recent upgrade to Android 4.4 it will not save my cards to the external SD card. In reply to the reply, it is not a limitation of Android but rather that the app needs to be alter to save to the a corresponding Worldcard Directory on the external SD Card within AndroidData.

Best business card file in the world. Super great help with support. Been using wm8 version for years and got 1000's of cards in it. Just upgraded my phone to S5 and my sync data went right there. I love it and I bet you will too. Steve, Houston Tx
