GMS is a system for managing judging and robot inspections at FIRST events. The Lead Robot Inspector & JA each have a station (typically a laptop) that automates the administrative aspects of their roles. Judges and Robot Inspectors carry mobile devices (tablets or phones) with this application to help them with their tasks. The system streamlines functions by integrating and distributing available data.

I can't speak highly enough about the FRC GMS app. It worked flawlessly at the regional and greatly simplified the paperwork for the inspection process. As a LRI it kept me updated on where we stood in the inspection process and I look forward to using it again next year.

We tried to use this at Central Illinois regional. Worked great for pit scouting but match schedules on gms were not available until just before kickoff. We struggled to get schedule on each tablet but could never advance past match two without crashing. Tried in offline mode but we could not observe matches at all in GMs. Ended up going with paper and spreadsheet backup. If we could use offline in team mode this would be great. As it is, make sure you have a backup for scouting.
