Map of the Internet by Peer 1

I give even less of them 5 stars, but this is just a really cool idea of an app off to an impressive start. It's probably best viewed on a minimum 52" curved monitor with 3-5 grams of psilocybin. I only have my small crappy Samsung J1, works fine.

Just a simplistic visualization tool, nothing fancy. But good for showing the change of Internet infrastructure over time.

Data on South Africa totally inaccurate....hardly shows anything....not even Telkom which is our biggest telecomunications company!

Perhaps easier to use UI, with lists sort of like Top 10 or something. Great overall, tho.

This could have been so useful, but too many stupid problems: 1. Data shown has not been updated since 2013, it needs current data to be useful. 2. The location data is too low quality. 3. The major AS-es (such as peer 1) are not points and should not be treated as points. 4. The globe has no base map of continents and countries. 5. North isn't fixed to pointing up, making it impossible to zoom in without loosing all sense of direction. 6. Traceroute is missing. It's all looks, no function.

A neat visualisation. Hopefully they keep it updated and expand on the idea. Ability to look ahead to projected future projections is cool.

It would be great if one could see today's state of the internet (not just as a "future" projection)...

Keeps on zooming out and cant use again until zoom animation is finished

It is a little slow and forces a zoom out after looking at every node.

This app makes me feel like misson impossible (ethen shaw). The three stars are because of the difficult zoom feature. Also the text In the search bar is difficult to read because of text color.

Looks Artfully designed .thanks to developers.pls enable favourite node list and add usfull features.

The representation of the networks is lovely. Getting a feel for how it connects. The timeline feature is informative with just enough info to get the point across. Nice.

Looks great. Only problem is the pan and zoom is way too touchy.

A great way to visualise how the internet is mapped. Actually uses real data from a BGP looking glass too.

It's an amazing app, and I love it... But it hasn't updated to 2015 or even 2014 yet.

Very neat app , it's amazing the growth and speed the Internet has come,, this has all been invented in my lifetime, we have really got a good thing here , so let's make sure that the "network neutrality" stays for all user's !

Please fix the flickering... Works but there are problems with the graphics rendering flickering on my gt-i9100g phone with android 2.3.6 samsung official

Very beautiful presentation of the internet mapping. Definitely would love this as a live wallpaper. Curious how it effects the mobile battery.

Love this app however on my Acer Iconia A210 it just displays a blank globe with no data points. Works fine on my MINIX Neo X 5.

Would be Incredible if the Developer's made another app simular but for the Population on the Planet.. Great Job (:

Although the app is interesting, there's nothing to do after 5 or less minutes. Beautifully made but the subject in itself lacks

Awesome App

The map feels too sensitive, and it would be interesting to see country borders. Plus i would like to see the perpetual slow rotating be pausable.

The zoom and movement is waaaay too sensitive for a touch screen.
