Screen On / Off Sound for Android
That's just it it doesn't work for me. Tried different files too I'm so disappointed
Does this app need root access etc.? My S7 is not currently Rooted at this time.. j/c
Not working for my tablet
Previously the app was not able to play my custom sounds if I selected it from the Built-In Ringtones in my S4. But I solved it by using ES File Explorer to provide the complete file path and it worked. However it no longer works now and I am stucked with only the phone's limited, original sounds. The claim that the app now obey's the phone's silent mode is not true. Under silent mode, the sounds are not muted

Didn't do anything
lovedit
Doesn't work, Moto G 2nd gen. Installed, tried to troubleshoot, nothing worked. Uninstalled.
Doesn't work. Can select file, but no sound is ever played.
Didn't work for my xperia z3
Previously, I could only get audio feedback by locking and unlocking the screen. Sometimes, when I am at home, I prefer to work with my screen lock disabled and simply turn the screen on and off. This app works perfectly for that situation. Of course the screen on & off by cover works great too! Only request is that, can we have the screen off sound to come on faster like the screen on sound? For the screen off sound, there seems to be quite a bit of delay. The app was also not able to play my custom sounds if I pick it from the Built-In Ringtones in my S4. But I solved it by using ES File Explorer to provide the complete file path, and now it works.
Thank you developer! This is a great and very useful app! Thanks for continued upgrades!
Not worth it. Uninstalled.
It ameging boring tik took slid ...etc. But this app all ate thanks yo app team.
I use the app every day. It's very simple and to the point. ................. To NickLee808-- Android requires that notification icon for any app running in the foreground which should not be killed by the phone going to sleep. It isn't a bug or problem, it's part of the Android OS. As for the developer being "lazy"-- you got a free app with no ads which the dev is making NO money on, and actually COSTS money to put online. If it doesn't have every feature you want, then use something else instead of slinging insults at a stranger who made you something for free, in their spare time.
RE: Richard Similar apps don't have the annoying notification icon, so I have no idea what you are talking about. Also, the latest update STILL doesn't fix the sound issue--it still plays loudly even on vibrate and it doesn't scale with the master volume. Only problem that was fixed was the absolute silent mode, which tells me the developer is just plain lazy. Congratulations on making an app for your private use. But if you can't handle criticism from a public user, then STFU and stop being butthurt.
I was able to pick the tone I wanted but it won't play on my phone. Sounds like exactly what I want but it just won't work. Any ideas? Or maybe even a different app that might work and do the same thing (preferably for free)
Excellent job works better than advertised.

Previously the app was not able to play my custom sounds if I selected it from the Built-In Ringtones in my S4. However when I used the OI File Manager to find the .oog sound file, it works great!
