Parentsaround Parental Control for Android
Good application for monitor my kid's activity with his gadget, and also protect him from pornography etc
Whenever chrome is opened (which is allowed) it goes to safe browser anyway. How could I change this?
Ok, web filtering only works on Parentsaround browser which is rubbish! Would give additional stars is worked with Chrome. Also only free for a month!
Need some refinement but overall a good application... keep the good work
Works for Samsung phones and Tablets. But for LG G3, It WILL NOT work as you cannot enable the option for Usage Access for this app.
Here is how to hack it: 1. Boot into safe mode. This way will not reset your device. Google how to do it because it varies from device to device. 2. Recovery mode. This will reset your device. Hold the volume down key first than the power button or the volume up button first and the power key and hold both keys until the device starts. From there select boot in to recovery with the volume keys. After that, select, Wipe user data. After that is done, select, reboot system now. Use the volume buttons to do it. You will have a device with no parental controls and will be factory resetted. Teens should know how to do this. Entering recovery mode varies from device to device do google how to do it.
I'm a 12 year old kid and I don't need this stupid app remove it from the store.

The add 1 hour option does not work!
On my Dell Venue 7 the allowed applications app is upside down. I power on the device, click to sign is as the child, sign in, and then the screen flips upside down. If I open an app, it flips right for the app, but the allowed application screen is still upside down when I leave the app. Second issue, go to the safe browser, set for 8-13 years old. Type in the F word that rhymes with Duck and the word monkey. Get tons of hits. Click one, and the device just times out. No message that its blocking the site. All support seems to be in French.
Ne surtout pas télécharger
Irritating and annoying
Poor instructions on how to use it

- please make it clear on your summary page that this is a paid service so people who are looking for free app don't waste time - Crashed my adroid first trial - I don't like how the app defines user. I have multiple users (the real users on devices, not the user registered in your system), and expect the app scan and manage the real users directly, instead of adding an extra user inside of a device user session ( which means kids have to log in, using different passwords, twice).
Useless app. Locked up LG and would only allow emergency calls. By luck it finally kicked over to the unlock screen. Unlocked device and had to download an uninstaller app to get rid of this one. Very frustrating. Save yourself the headache and find another app to use.
This app is terrible :'-(
This app dosent work
UNINSTALLED
Worst of all
Would be better if usage time limit could be set for the allowed apps individually

No Better app even among the top porn block apps this stop you even if you know how to bipass them through setting theres no way pass it. I have no kid so this is for myself. But you have to have some else still to hold on to the password and you cant know about it either. Thank you for the best porn block i was never able to find till now.
I gave my 8yo my old smartphone and took a long time figuring out how to manage it with her so she could have some freedom (download free games from Play store, send texts, etc.) but not total control (install Facebook, use built-in chat, etc.). It was harder than I thought but this app turned out to be the winner. She requests apps and I can approve them remotely, instantly, in email, and she gets them right away. She doesn't browse the web much but it's nice to know her browser is at least semi-"safe." We don't use the time management (yet) but it's nice to know it's there if we need it. She feels very grownup with her own access code and being able to shop and download stuff from the Play store. When I decided to pay month to month, the process was easy. The interfaces are a little clunky and clearly not by native English speakers, but this app really does the job & is the best out there I've found. Recommended!

Not sure about the positive comments..seem a little manufactured to me.. Avoid
Ok im still in the free trial but i reckon i will buy this. I recently bought my 2 daughters tablets and i wanted to make them safe to use while also allowing them different freedoms due to age etc. I didnt realise the tabletd i bought had very poor security and privacy controls. I downloaded a few parental control apps and was very disapointed. So anyways this ticks all the boxes for me 1- it can be synced across all devices 2- it has its own extremely safe browser 3- i pick which apps is on their screen
It seems that this is not the most popular / installed parental control app out there. That is surprising as this is the most Mature and Comprehensive software in this rather crowded category. My review will be short -- I have tried some other totally free solutions. Most will work splendidly if you have perhaps just one (1) device and are looking mostly to install it and forget it. Your results will be commensurable. Parents Around is free for try / paid after that app + service. It is geared for multiple devices / multiple kids / varying schedules. You will need to sit down and make decisions regarding your kids computing usage policies. In return for your work (and money) you will get back more flexibility and way more understanding what your kids are doing. Last but not least, the software seems fairly mature. However, as of this writing, there are still ways of getting around it -- I can only imagine that it get better with time. Highly recommended.
Joue bien son role.
WOW DOESN'T WORK AT ALL ALLOWS APPS TO BE OPENED WHILE ON RESTRICTIONS. STUPID.
Good job
I've tried several of these programs. Notably Norton Family a total fail. Funamo also didn't really accomplish what we needed (wasted $ there ...). This one looks pretty second rate, but it DOES work. I have three kids, needed two features: ability to block apps (i.e., YouTube) and restrict time. The latter is where this product seems to be the only on offer ... we have our kids on a limit per day which varies by day plus what appears to be a rolling 7-day total limit. So they can make choices about when they play games but aren't able to overdo it.
Overall a well thoughtout application that allows you to create user accounts for each member of your family and either enable or disable access to apps depending on age and settings. Same goes for the net so you dont have to worry about your kids going to questionable websites as everything but the most appropriate sites are blocked.
