Heart Rate Monitor & Announcer for Android
Terrifyingly Buggy. Blacks out screen, crashes, locks phone, disappears from the top menu, freezes phone.
Great, but I want manual entry of heart rate zones, so it can match wahoo fitness.
Lov this app. Really simple and connects to my hrm every time without any issues.
Doesn't connect to the York chest strap
Amazing monitor and announcer
connects quickly to scosche rhytm+
Will never connect with scosche rhythm +
Uninstalled
This is the only app I could find that does the basic function of heart rate zone audio feedback. It's great for feedback while training, and very simple to use. Feature requests for improvements: - Volume control (relative to other sources) - Custom zone intervals (just let me type in the heart rate breakpoints) - Periodic announcements (announce heart rate every x minutes regardless of zone transitions) - Change settings even if not actively connected to a sensor
Gave it 4 stars. A couple of improvements and I'd give it 5 and would be happy to pay a one off cost. 1) Ability to save the data each session. 2) Control over voice warning on heart zone eg. Only tell me if I'm in zone 4 or 5. Great app though.
I can't get the notification to leave my notification tray, even when I exit the app, is still there. No way to remove except for through force closing it
This has almost everything i want but why cant i save my stats, so i can compare my workouts it sucks not knowing what i did before
This app does everything I need and works perfectly!
Works great. Needs calories burnt
Thanks for getting it working with my generic device.
Amazing monitor and announcer
Missing endomondo feature.
connects quickly to scosche rhytm+
The best app for accompanying your runs of hikes or rides.
Will never connect with scosche rhythm +
Heart monitor app it's good one like it
Didn't work at first but quick update and it works perfectly. Makes a big difference having an audio hr zone alert. Thanks to the dev for quick fix. Just wish it had a widget now so I could use it as a small app overlaid on my interval timer.
Not working with Mio link
Exactly what i was looking for. A simple heart rate app with heart rate zones and audio queues when you enter and leave each zone. Easy to use interface, which isn't overloaded with settings or features that aren't needed. It's a shame this app is so hard to find, because it's the best one out there. Would happily pay money for this, but it's totally free! No adds either!
App doesn't see my generic Bluetooth monitor.
Does exactly what I need to when running, I can tailor my runs to a specific heart rate range and set myself targets based on what I want to achieve each time I go out, stops me from going out too slow/quick. Only gripe is the volume is always too quiet even with Android set on Max, job to hear it over music sometimes. Be nice if you could set a sweet spot or make your own range to squeeze your performance right to the edge.
