If nothing else, the App is reflective of the PayFlex company. Ineffective, discombobulated and annoying. HELLO PAYFLEX!! CAN'T YOU READ THESE HORRIBLE REVIEWS AND SEE HOW LONG THE ONE-STORY BAR IS??
You go to their website, it brags about the mobile app. The financial center tab shows the bal, dep, withdrawal . Documents tab have zero claim forms that you can use. They need to stop their own advertisement about the mobile app, till it has some good features we can use and it's tested.
Claims are denied but you never receive an e-mail as to why? Had to call just to find out that the photo of the document WHICH YOU CANNOT REVIEW FOR CLARITY was blurry. Maybe if you save the pic on your phone you'll be Lucky. Wish our company would drop PayFlex. But you know the deal unethical conduct is thriving in society. Good Luck with PayFlex!!!!!
I guess I'm lucky because I was never even able to log in. This saves me the frustration of trying to use the app to file a claim! The log in works fine on the web portal, no so much with the app.
Good for checking balances. That's about it though. I received notification that I needed to submit receipts for several claims. I keep getting an error when I tried to submit, then the claims reappeared with 0 balances I guess indicating that they were rejected, but without a reason why? You're better off with the website. This is a waste!
Instead of offering a password reset, you have to call them. I have used the same password and now it won't let me in. But in order to reset it, I have to call, wait on hold and answer a zillion security questions. I sign onto my account at work and tried to reset my password there, but they require thr password to do it. Just how dumb are these people. I didn't change my password, yet it doesn't work and now I have to supply it? Gotta be a better company out there.
Use to work fine, now won't let yoy login. Getting login errors cant recognize user id or password. Im unistalling until fixed
Login fails? Agreement status cannot be retrieved? Basic stuff seems to not work. A shame because the idea of the app is pretty solid.
When submitting a claim the last 3/4 times, the pictures and transmitting blurry. I've used this app successfully for months and now claims get denied as they can't read the image uploaded. I send the same file via pc and it's fine. No change in phone or process on my end.
The documents that are submitted are almost ALWAYS unreadable. Claims are ALWAYS denied when submitted through the app. This is major functionality that NEEDS TO BE FIXED.

Got an email from the company encouraging use of the app. I downloaded it and logged in to get a message saying my account is not yet supported for the app. Why did you email me?
The claims process for an HSA is completely ridiculous! It was far easier with the previous provider.
Not too many features to help manage account. Would like to see a way to manage receipts, assign dependant expenses and look at outstanding payments
Pretty much useless. Combined with the horrible web site that Pay Flex maintains it just shows that technology is not among their strong suites. Sad!

You can't upload documentation which is the most important part of this app. They do absolutely nothing to help you either. Don't bother just call your company directly and scream at them to make giving documentation easier. It will be more productive than using this terrible app. I'm going to see what I can do legally to have this app removed from all play stores until they actually give a reputable app. Nothing is secure using it. Don't put your personal info from your documentation in your pics either.

If I could give 0 stars I would but there's no option for that. This app looks like something from 2000. Needs material design update and the software is so buggy. Please fix it Pay flex!
A lot of people give bad reviews based on an expectation, although this app has everything you need to acces your account and learn about payflex accounts. A claim can not be filed, but its because any claim there a re questions that need to be answered, that would make it too lengthy through a mobile device.
My claim was rejected because the receipt that I submitted was supposedly illegible. Well, they don't let you upload PDF files from the app - only photos. So I took a screen capture of the PDF of the receipt on my tablet and submitted that. It was perfectly legible, and just about as good as the PDF. This app is a really sub-par effort. The developer(s) should be ashamed.
Has some good features like Make a Payment that are easier to use than the website. You can see summary and detail account info. The user interface is very poor though. Looks like an app built in 2006 rather than 2016. Consider modernizing the interface please to make it more intuitive and easier to navigate!
Absolutely no way to submit claims. Both the website and app are useless regardless of how much they claim you can submit claims using them. Glad my company is moving on from these worthless morons. Encourage your hr dept to dump this company
This app was incredibly effective when I first downloaded then stopped working. I'm going to reinstall and hopefully that will work. Also, would be very helpful to understand the status of the reimbursement - right now it's not an end-to-end process review.
Told by customer svc that claims & receipts can be submitted through app. Just loaded 5 and there is no sign that it was even submitted much less saved. Waste of my time, will fax them in and be done.

Most of the options don't work, crashing sections of the app. Hasn't been updated since 2013... Android M is coming soon and this probably isn't even compatible with KitKat. There's another app from PayFlex called PayFlex Wallet that was updated weeks before this review but I am unable to log in...
You can enter all the info and hit a button to review info, but there's no button to submit the claim.
When filling a claim, under the section where it says "Dependant Name", it should say "Dependants FIRST Name". I kept getting errors when I wrote the first and last name in the field...
The issue is that when you have multiple claims, it sends the wrong claim when you process it. This has been going on for as long as I've had the app.
I've had the app for about a year. Not once has it been problem free. Also, most options in the app tell you to log into the website. Now I can't withdraw or deposit funds to my HSA from the app, which is the primary reason I downloaded it. If it's that difficult to interface a mobile app to your backend, it's probably not the app developers that are the issue.
This app worked fine not long ago. Now it will not let you upload documents for your claims or even look at your claim. Went from a 5 star app to 1.
After waiting over a week after submitting 2 claims from this app, which did upload the pictures of receipts... At least it told me it did, there was no progress on my claims. After three phone calls I was finally informed the pictures didn't upload and I would have to resubmit a new claim by fax. Which is what I should have done in the first place. Now we will see how long that takes them. This app is unreliable.
This app is ok. It would be better if I could submit multiple pictures for my claim instead of only one. If I have any problems I call customer service. They are excellent!

Nexus 7 - when I try to file a dependent care claim, this app keeps throwing an error when I hit the Review button. The message says to review my claim for an error and that claims for each dependent should be filed separately. After playing around, I figured out that the interface won't accept a dependent name with spaces. I entered the name with without spaces but capitalized first letters (example: "JohnDoe") and it worked. I will see whether or not the claim gets accepted.

Trying to submit photo of receipt, but instead different (first?) item gets action. Feels like this app was outsourced. Very poor quality.

If you submit a claim through this app it will be denied because the claims department cant read it. It puts the wrong claims to the wrong inquiries and they have no technical support when u ask for it. Plus there will be no notification when the claim is denied and they will just suspend your card!!!! Im so frustrated with this whole company right now, but the app is what put me over the top!!!
