Eh, it does the job. On the V20 nothing is aligned visually. The temp, flavor setting, and text is mashed and skewed. The new update also takes way longer to connect. The unit is usually already heated to the previous setting before the app connects. I appreciate the effort, but there is clearly still some work to do.

Edit: Thanks for your help with this. Just to recap, I was trying to update, it would say I need to have a charge of 50% or more. Well, turns out it wasn't firmware. It was user error (imagine that)! I had a ahh hah moment this evening after my PAX3 lost charge. I realized it wasn't the phone that needed to be over 50% charged but the PAX3 (haha). I charged the PAX3 and was able to update successfully! I would like to tell myself I wasn't the only one that lost their mind...I could have sworn I read where others were having a similar issue. I have had a moment to check the app out and it seems to work without issues. Thanks again for the prompt reply, I'm changing my rating to 5.

Issue now resolved. I ended up syncing it and placing it back on the charger before updating the firmware. Great app! User friendly and cool features.

Newest update made the app a pleasant experience. Snappy, precise response time from touch is the best part of the update. Previously the app was slooooow. It doesn't freeze on the homepage anymore, either. So that's nice. My only complaint now is that the descriptions for the different modes disappear before I have the to finish reading them. Devs, great job on the update! All my major issues have been addressed. Keep up the good work.

The update made the app much more usable, but it's still pretty bare bones feature wise and still randomly disconnects from the pax when my phone's screen turns off. Would appreciate usage statistics and a mode specifically for concentrates. Also, the currently selected mode is not centered on the screen.

Awesome customization. A few things. I'm running a Galaxy 5 if that helps...but when I'm using the app I don't like to have to tap the device on the phone to see the temps. When it connects it should go right to temps. Other than that, excellent product. So happy I made the purchase.

Originally, the app broke my PAX 3 before I even had a chance to use it. I eventually got it working after hours of screwing with it. Lots of others having the same issue. Now everything seems fixed and it works really well! I wish the splash screen wasn't just white, and I also wish it would automatically connect. Mine sits on the white startup page and I have to manually tap into the 'control mode' each time.

Just got the pax 2, and I know it's discontinued, but there should still be an option on the app for the older versions.. not everybody wants the newest thing on the market. *edit, turns out the pax2 doesn't have Bluetooth, not their fault at all. I'm sure it's a great app, but as I can't use it, sorry, but no 5 stars from me

The idea behind this app is awesome. It does not work on my galaxy s6 edge. When opening the app it connects to pax device but then says my pax needs update. A message appears saying that it can't update my device until it charges to 2000%, but my pax is fully charged. Please help!

Definitely a nice touch to the pax experience but the dev should think to remove location service for pairing alongside some other minor inconveniences. Overall I enjoy the app but it needs a bit more refining. All in due time.

My initial review was a one star because the app was late on its release but now that I've had time to use it with pax 3 it is a wonderful app. It does everything it's supposed to, my only suggestions would be to include instructions for the games since they're kind of confusing, y'all could increase the amount of different light themes to choose from, you could also add a mode specifically meant for use with the concentrate insert, and lastly when I went through the app intro it said that there was a fine temperature tuner in the app to tune in single degrees rather than the five degree increments that you can swipe through in the circle temperature reader but I cant figure out if I just don't know how to use the fine temperature adjusters or if I misinterpreted the intro. But all in all its a good app that makes the pax even better.

2000% battery required to update pax? Sounds like a bug. You can tell the app is half baked at first glance. I was expecting the app to match the quality of the pax 3.. nope.

Had a bit of a problem getting it to connect the very first time. After that connects everytime. The settings and personal adjustment are fantastic.

Thank you for adding that! I'll test it next week. Is it possible to lower the coolest temp limit to allow for other herbs like chamomile?

I uninstalled and reinstalled the app to get it working. Once working the app is the best way to control your Pax 3
