About Benton-Franklin Humane Society
The Benton-Franklin Humane Society Application lets you see the dogs, cats and small animals that we currently have at the shelter- pets looking for new homes. The animals are shown in ‘real time’. it will help folks in the community looking to adopt a shelter pet by letting them see the animals waiting for new homes before visiting the shelter. You can search for animals by breed or other characteristics you may be looking for, and you can add animals to your favorites to easily come back and find them later! If you'd like to show your support but can't currently adopt, you can donate to the shelter or sponsor part of the adoption fee for a pet waiting for a forever home.

The photos of the animals are very, very small and the window to view the info is small too. You can't pinch in to zoom up and landscape mode doesn't function. You can see other photos, if available, by clicking on the photo of the animal interested in. But you wouldn't know that because there isn't any navigation for it. The app info says you can search breeds and characteristics, but there isn't any search area to do this. Neat idea here but needs a bit of work.

Despite the update of available adoptees, the lack of bigger pictures makes the app worthless. Better to just look up with browser.

The pictures are VERY small on the Samsung Galaxy S4 phone, other than that issue I like the App.

I'm on the Note 3 and pictures are very small to the point you cannot see the animal after bruising alk pictures indicate no picture.

Does not run correctly on all devices!! Runs fine on smartphone Android 2..2+. Pictures are very small. no pinch zoom. no landscape. Problems with Nexus 7 tablet with Android 4.2. Loads pictures first time ok, but after viewing one animal and returning to main screen , there are no pictures to be seen. just a big "X". Great idea... but needs more work to be useful . White text on pale blue background is difficult to read. One star for concept. One more star for running on smartphone. Would have been more stars if it ran on Nexus 7 tablet. . Will review again after updates (if any!!)
