A structured, yet flexible communication process greatly enhances patient care. information gathered and disseminated during the communication process will inform clinical staff and benefit the patients’ care pathway through the Emergency Department (ED).

This app is designed to support in implementation of the national “Handover of Ambulance Patients in Emergency Departments” protocol (Document number EMPPROT 2012 - 001) however the communication tools on the App can also be used for other clinical situations.
