Easy to automatically change volume, connectivity, and display settings based on rules like time of day, accessories connected, etc. For example, when at work, I have the volumes low. Not as good as the Symbian version, but I believe that is due to restrictions in Android - eg cannot disable mobile data. I have used Situations now on Nokia N8, Sony Xperia Z3 (both normal Android and CyanogenMod) and OnePlus 3T. One addition I would like is the ability to turn Night Mode on and off.

I love the app, but it uses a lot of resources. I would love to see uf tge app could detect situation change a bit faster. Sometimes it's really slow.

For simple (wifi) location aware profiles (sounds for me) this is simply the best. I used Llama for years but it hasn't been updated. The other "automated" apps I tried were too complex, confusing, and difficult for the simple volume change I needed. The best part is the GUI!!! Prime example of the KISS principles! Good work dev! May I suggest you include examples of the "not equals to" option. Had to read previous comments to find out how.

After a hiatus, I have started using this app again. Suggestions: Pls implement back-up and restore of settings asap! Allow tagging of network cells to a label which can be used in multiple situs. Lenovo phones have ability to toggle Data Conn. Bugs: In Bluetooth triggered situs, situ stays on even when BT device has disconnected and BT is turned off. Minor typo in UI: in Launch App action pop up, the heading reads "Close" I instd of "Launch"! Thanks frm a longtime user since the time of Symbian.

Migrating to a new phone is not easy(?). I would love a new feature: "on table" "on go" ect. in whitch the app would poll if it is moving or not.

Pretty basic version of what Motorola offers with SmartActions but it's still good. Looks to be a load on battery life. Have to purchase a number of the advanced things. My biggest problem is the lack of a settings file export that allows me to import settings to a new device. Giving automateit which offers more advanced settings a shot instead of this.

Definitely in the top 5 for productivity apps. The customization is wonderful and very user friendly. Even the customer service is wonderful! Quick response time, professional and friendly. The only issue is Google blocking certain options from being used, like being able to toggle mobile data on/off starting with lollipop.

Seem like a very good app for applying a setting when a specific condition occurs, but I don't see any way to change out of that Situation when the condition ends. Example, when NOT connected to WIFI name, change sound to Loud.

Great app, Now we also have option to close the apps at the end of situation

R70%
by R####:

It already has very effective and easy to use WHAT and WHEN options with the ability to NOT the options too. Really easy to use and masses of options. OR functions can be achieved also by using "sub-situations" and a "master situation" that has the sub-situations set as a condition. Love it...

Much more improved than the version available in symbian s60 OS. Previously I used it to make my phone silent automatically when I reach college campus by using "Network cells". Now I use it for many tasks such as automatically switching wifi on/off, screen brightness adjustment, launching /closing apps and many more... I would like to suggest you to add "When" - "No network" - I'm referring to mobile network.

This application is cool. I reccommend it to other users who want to automate their profiles. It is by far the greatest. I like it

Works great but please add mobile data switching off to 'what' and maybe fight/airplane mode to 'what' functions. Would be 5 stars with these two additional functions.

Buy, buy and buy. It was useful for me on Symbian. Nowadays it's useless until you buy lot of add-ons. It's using battery a lot and crashing down often. I uninstalled this.

Awesome, I really loved having this on my Symbian and n9, but I am missing the feature to toggle offline or airplane mode. Otherwise, probably the best app ever.

I stayed on Symbian until this app matured on Android and I would have moved to Windows Phone if there was an equivalent. The automation of profiles is a must have feature! I know that Android restrictions prevent the app doing everything it could on Symbian, but it's still great. Can I suggest predefined sets of settings for use in multiple situations and a widget to set a situation for the next X minutes (e.g. go silent while in an important but unplanned conversation).

Super app. Though not matching the Nokia Symbian feel. Felt like system in built on symbian. Not getting that feeling here. Please give option to hide icon when it's running. Annoying. Customise ring tone also to select for different situation. Gave 5 to encourage you to improve like symbian. I still carry Nokia just because of few apps. Best is situations. Keep upgrading this. Hope you can do much better. Improve ui as well. Thank you very much providing this. You made my day.

This app was great on Symbian a couple of years ago, but still needs to improve a lot on Android. Some issues: (1) It has been crashing quite often on M when receiving Broadcasts; (2) Sometimes the app misses headphone insertion and that's annoying; (3) There are some limitations compared to the good old Symbian version.

I migrated from Symbian to Android this week and was delighted to find Situations. Some improvement suggestions: (1) The ability to switch off location services (GPS) to save power. (2) The ability to switch off 3G/2G to save power. (3) The Symbian version reverts the "What" changes at the end of a situation (e.g. screen timeout). Android version doesn't do that, so every situation has to include all the "What"s that are setup up in ANY of the other situations.

Wish it has a 'screen out' under 'when'. So that it is possible to set 4G/LTE radio, Wi-Fi or Bluetooth to off when screen out. And then automatically turn on these radios when using phone or screen on. Another suggestion: throttle down to 3G from 4G when prefer not to turn off 4G/LTE Also wish it has an option to turn off GPS radio. These above suggestions would save battery daily and max. battery life. Love this app. Been using this daily for years since Nokia. Go Situations!, keep up this fantastic app!

UI responsiveness not great on my S6, but nonetheless a very useful app, worth every penny. I used it on my Nokia N8, and I am happy to see this on Android. Keep up the good work!

Once a fantastic app which automated just about everything on my Nokia 808, its now extremely frustrating. The App fails to switch to situations even when all conditions are met. Even when it correctly switches to a situ, the What actions are not performed. I have to go to settings and disable and re-enable the Application State which makes it work for a while before the App dozes off again. On my Lenovo A7000 Lollipop 5.0, the custom smart scene can even control Data Connection. Y cant u guys do it?

Perfectly automates my phone's ringtone and notification volume. As a high school teacher, I use this app to ensure that my phone never rings during class but then sets the ringer to volume during office hours. Excellent app!
