Pick-a-Paint for Android
It's ok to show you what the room will look like, sometimes the color will bleed over onto the furniture. But if you find a color you like you like there is no way to find the name or code of it. And don't get me started in the hassle that I went through to get the picture on my phone so I could bring it up in my gallery so I could take it to a local business to see if we could figure out what color it is.
Colours everything in the room so hard to see what it will look like... If you've used the Dulux app you'll know that these apps CAN work, this one just doesn't at all. Needs to up its game if it wants to compete with the other big paint people... It's easier to buy dulux at this point, even though I much prefer Valspar quality.
After battling to find a color, despite having exact name/number, the best this app could do was blanket the entire room with it, including furniture, rug , window treatments and PEOPLE. total waste of time.
Doesn't remember position in collections so adjusting a shade is impossible. When using the rubber to remove colour the calibration is completely off will affect the bottom of the picture when rubbing in the top half. A great idea poorly executed.
Rubbish. Paint fills in furniture as well as the walls, impossible to erase with any control. Disspointing, because the idea is great. But this is a waste of time.
I would not recommend this app. Furniture gets coloured in and it is not accurate to undo this. Also it does not save the name of the colour when you share the picture. So pretty useless.
Can't search for paint by name or code, white screen appears. If you do a color match it doesn't tell you what the code is you would look for in the store. Had to then Google the color name to get the code, which at that point why am I using the app?
Doesn't work. Takes you in circles. Don't waste your time.
Dont know what the other reviewers are on about.....this is a great app! Allowed me to see what a new extension will look like in different colours. Didn't cover windows as others have moaned about, allowed me to 'rub out' an area and paint in a different colour. Great aid to help with choice of paint colour.
Colours didn't match the card samples in the shop. Asked assistant and was told, and shown, that the card samples were correct and this app was wrong. It's a rough guide at best.
Not interactive! You can't touch a paint chip and have it expand to fill the screen it stays tiny and unusable! Apparently incomplete database, can't find the same information I was able to find online!
It paints everything on the picture that I take. It won't tell me the name of the color I choose. It won't search for the color when I put its name or code in. Total rubbish. I am shocked.
Absolute rubbish. Just show a wishy washy image. Have to scroll thro all colours to find the one you want.
Difficult to navigate. Doesn't work and doesn't tell you what the colors are on the inspiration section. Terrible app!
Probably the worst out all I've used. Color bleeds onto everything!
Search does not work by color name or number; result is blank screen.
Rubbish, only has 1 colour can't find any other colours
This app is terrible. Colors don't match the Valspar swatches at Lowe's.
Zero pattern recognition means your dog and your coffee cup get the paint color too! Oh, and the floor. Because we just splash the paint everywhere.
Turns the entire photo of room colour of paint you choose...
Can't search colors, colors won't load in collections. Waste of time.
Only portrait mode? And it pains the ceiling too? Horrible.
Doesn't work. A moron developed this.
As a painter decorator this is the best painting app I've ever found good job
Colours look too bright and paints things other than the wall while also changing the scale of the photo
Could apply a colour to any photos useless
Didn't have any 2017 colors! I was looking ng for white pepper 4001-1A. It's not in the app.
Wasn't able to actually paint the wall...
Just fills the entire image with colour and doesn't let you remove portions. The eraser tool does absolutely nothing.
Stupid. Can't even find the colours I want and then it changes colour of the furniture too - making it pointless. Getting this off my phone right now!
This is crap. I wanted to see my room with two different colors but it wouldn't let me do two colors on each of my walls. I wanted one wall blue and one purple but it had to be one or the other. I could USE two colors, but this app wouldn't let me separate the walls.
Works differently on different phones, even between the s6 and the s7. Can't see the names of any of the paints on the s7. Cannot share paint colours with anyone as it simply opens the app only when you select the link. Flicking through paint reels is not smooth. Did anyone test this app before releasing it? I don't think know so.
Don't bother downloading. Can't paint 2 colours. Then click on inspirations and you get 8 pictures of colours, but it doesn't tell you what the colours are.
You can't find the colors you want to see using their search feature, it doesn't do anything at all when you use the name or number of a color. None of the colors to select the from are named, so you can't search that way. And when you do try a color, it does a creepy wash over the entire photo. Seriously, Valspar, hire the person who made the HomeDepot app.
Search for paint color by name or number; neither works. Sort of defeats the whole purpose of the app, doesn't it?
Not sure why the paint can't be found, but I wasted a lot of time and energy finding the colors I wanted and then couldn't get them. Don't waste your time!
Albeit a little confusing at first, once you get the hang of it this is a great little tool
It paints everything on the picture that I take. It won't tell me the name of the color I choose. It won't search for the color when I put its name or code in. Total rubbish. I am shocked.
None of the functions actually work.

I tried to look up a color I had a sample of, to see if I could explore coordinating colors, but it didn't have any of the colors from the collection. The color exploring tool is also kind of crummy. The best thing about this app is that it has by far the best visualization in the way you can take a photo and paint it easily.
