Selling a home is a detailed procedure and I detail all the insight to my sellers to best market their property. I then explain all the steps necessary once a contract is approved that must be accomplished to lead to a successful closing.
The most important aspect of being a residential buyer specialist in real estate is to help my clients find/ and close on a home that they want in a community where they will find the greatest happiness. This requires much research on the area, the homes, the taxes and the features of the town. I am used to doing extensive research from my previous career as a High School History and Psychology teacher. I want my clients to know everything there is to know about the area as well as the home itself. Therefore building a sense of trust between my clients and myself is so vital. My clients always know that I am always a phone call away if they have any questions/problems that have to be dealt with. I have always enjoyed spending time with my clients, showing them numerous homes till they find the right one, and explaining all aspects of a contract that will be written. On the listing end, I spend time explaining the listing contract as well the features of the MLS documents so that I can get all the details of the home in print so it can be marketed properly.
I believe that I must always demonstrate integrity in all aspects of a transaction as well as my relationship with my clients.
The one aspect essential in any real estate transaction is negotiating a contract. I have experience in negotiations as a teacher who served as President of my local teachers' association. I helped negotiating many a contract where all parties felt confident that they accomplished their goal. In my real estate profession my negotiation expertise helped my clients arrive at a settlement that ultimately led to a closing. Negotiations is an intricate process, and the inherent pressure to reach a successful goal for my clients is so very important for me. This makes my job worthwhile.
I have established excellent contacts with attorneys, appraisers, home inspector specialists, as well as other agents in the process.
I am acutely aware of all the details that need to be done for my clients to reach their goal of home ownership/home sale. These intricate details are at the heart of all my efforts. I constantly update my education by taking courses and achieving designations so as to keep myself informed of the changing trends/patterns of the real estate profession.
