Battery Stretch is a powerful, yet easy to use Battery Manager App similar to Juice Defender and others.
It is a battery saver that works by intelligently managing data, like 3G connectivity and WiFi, which drain your
battery.The app works quietly in the background meaning you can just turn it on, and enjoy the
benefits of longer battery life without having to worry.
How does it work?
At it's most
basic, the app works by automatically turning off your data connectivity when you turn your screen
off. This can be just your mobile data, or your wifi too. For example, having your wifi constantly enabled,
means that your phone if regularly checking whether there is a valid wifi network that it can
connect to which can use up a lot of battery - this is often unnecessary if you are away from your home
or work network. Battery Stretch can also decide whether to leave wifi
enabled depending on whether you have managed to successfully connect to a wireless
network.
What about my emails?
Battery Stretch provides the option of regular scheduled windows (See Sync Windows in settings) to allow data so that you don't have to worry about missing
emails, or important Twitter or Facebook updates!

This app no longer works. It use to work great on my galaxy s4 but doesn’t on my galaxy s6. It no longer turns off my WiFi or mobile data when locked. I hope they fix issue soon because my new phone really eats up the battery and I constantly need to charge it.

Gtalk automatically logs off once screen is turned off. There is no option to select services that can access internet when screen is turned off.

The key here is it stops your battery being drained when not in use. If you use your phone for occasionally checking stuff it will really help.5 stars

The rest of the app is great but when disabled or on headset mode the Wifi still turns off when the screen locks. Please fix this and I will give a five star rating.

I have been using this for several months. When I am at work it makes my battery last longer. I turn it off when I am not worried about battery conservation because it does get annoying turning WiFi and mobile data on and off with the screen. Well worth the price for the battery it saves!

Brilliant battery saver when out and about, but refuses to let my wifi connect at home. Turns wifi on, recognises the network but won't connect. 2 stars down from 4 because as a paid for app you expect better.

Settings and functions didnt work in ICS as I tested by enabling sleep at for a duration and it doesn't disable whatever connections I set! Please fix as we paid for it thanks!

Before, battery drained in 8-12 hours. After, 12 hour day still have 40-50% battery. Of course everything depends on how many and which apps you're running in the background. Well worth the peace of mind.

I thought by buying this app that my issues of battery drain was over but this not the case. I still charge my phone at least twice a day and by 11 pm irs totally dead! I have issues with the wifi and the mobile internet. For me I am thinking of just dumping this app totally.

Used to work great; was best battery saver -believe me, I have tested quite a lot of them! However, since ICS update (Nexus S, stock 4.0.3, OTA) it has lost partly its functionality; disconnecting data/WIFI works randomly. Plz update/re-tune this great app to regain its glory under ICS!

I saw an improvement in my samsung Charge the next day. My battery actually lasted from 8am to midnight when I pluged it in to charge at 6%.
