Rally SatNav for Android
Installed, used for one journey. Uninstalled. Just got on my nerves and useless as satnav but no doubt would be invaluable when I'm racing in the WRC.
Calls out the turns when I am already halfway through the turn. Great idea but could be better with more features
It doesn't handle rerouting very well, or starting too quickly. Selecting addresses is not perfect, but still good enough. Excited to see this perfected
This app surprised me on how well it works, and how quickly it works. I use it on paved country roads that I am not familiar with, or at night. It lets me come around a corner I can't see all the way through with confidence. There are some instances where turns are miscalculated slightly, such as a right 5 should be a long right 5; other than that it does well for the road information its given.
Но приложение использует карты Google, которые неидеальны.
Works as advertised. ... shows some deficiencies in the base map for Canada
This app does what it says, and pretty well, but I can't hear the directions over my music (I use Play music through a phone jack in my car, fwiw). Ducking the music all the time would probably get aggravating, but maybe it could overlay the audio at the same volume as the music? It's really fun to use if you're driving somewhere you already know how to get to and don't want to listen to anything on the way, but that's probably more enjoyable in something other than my 2.0L Focus...
I just downloaded it and hopped into my car to try it out. TL;DR: Im never gonna use my cars gps again!:D First off the good stuff: It works really quite well, kudos to the developer, your work here is awesome! Really awesome! I didnt think it would work this well in the german outback but it really called every corner good! Huge fun! You just enter the destination and off you go and it really seems well made and authentic! Could use some slight improovements but the devs ensured me they would come! 5/7!
Very cool app! Would be nice to have a way to save routes and drive them again, like what My Tracks does, also maybe a timer and be able to save times. Would also be nice to be able to set way points so you could take back roads that are more fun than highways.
I like this app's idea, and have been using it on and off for the past day. It's actually a fun app, and can probably teach you a thing or two about rally navigation, but I probably wouldn't use it if I needed actual directions. The app sometimes just refused to give directions, or showed the mal but stayed at the same direction at the bottom until I hit the hardware back key. Still, its a fun little app for getting around in style!
App does what it promises, voice is accurate, but currently the app can't read GPX or KML files so there's NO WAY to upload a custom trip/path that you'd like to drive. It can only direct you from point A to B according to Google Maps' shortest distance.
Makes my commute to work so much more fun
Anyone who's ever watched rally driving on TV has surely secretly dreamed of having a co-driver calling out directions! Get this app and you live the dream.
Easy to use, calls turns clearly and reliably. Much prefer this to my previous navigation apps.
Brilliant idea!
Not that great
