PanPan Crew Watcher

PanPan's Crew Watcher constantly checks if if everyone is still on board using your phone and a beacon.
In case of a man overboard, the app will automatically sound the alarm. Upon confirmation, you are provided with portable and intuitive rescue guidance. Requires zero input, it is like sat nav for rescue.

== Automatic & smart ==
Automatically activated alarm on a man overboard, even when dragged on by a safety tether using the water sensor.

== The original MOB compass ==
The app visually guides you back to the point of loss requiring zero input while remaining portable. The MOB icon always moves relative to your boat. You just steer, get it dead ahead and watch it turn green.

== Homing & search perimeter ==
Once at the point of loss, PanPan will show your position within the estimated search radius along with the track you've covered within that radius. Simultaneously, it scans for the beacon’s homing signal.

== Mesh networking ==
Our mesh networking technology will enable any beacon to automatically become a repeater on the fly. This allows the signal to find alternative paths, increases range and further prevents false alarms.

Notes:
* The PanPan app works exclusively with PanPan Crew Watcher beacons
* The app utilizes Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your beacons. The maximum range is 200 meters line of sight. Using the Mesh functionality, range can double.
* Continued use of GPS and Bluetooth running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.
