PanicSpider_Patient

This is the patient app of the two PanicSpider apps. This should be installed for patient being monitored.

For the monitors, please get the PanicSpider_Monitor app at this link. [https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.panicspider.monitorapp] Please don't install both apps on the same phone as they may conflict.

PanicSpider is a new concept in In Case of Emergency apps. The idea behind this is to alert and track participants in an emergency situation. The features are as follows.
-Relies mainly on messaging instead of the internet in case of emergency.
-Monitor app keeps watch for alerts and makes some noise so the alert does not go unnoticed.
-Cross messaging ensures the alert reach each participant one way or the other.
-Acknowledgment of the alert and the location of each are relayed to everyone else.
-Create a panic web and test the network status on a timely basis.

The Patient app is the one that is installed for the patient. The features specific to this app are as follows.
-App speaks out the updates so the patient does not have to handle the phone to get updates.
-Two separate launch icons, one dedicated to panic situations.
-Address and location of others on a google map if internet is available.
