TV Remote app lets you comfortably operate Panasonic flat-panel TV, 2011/2012 VIERA with mobile devices running Android OS ("Android Device(s)").
The TV Remote app lets you control VIERA over wireless network (Wi-Fi) more intuitively than the ordinary remote controller. The TV Remote App also lets you transfer pictures, videos, music or websites from your mobile display to VIERA TV, and vice versa. It also features a Game Controller option, which lets you play games using Android Device as your handset. Keyboard and touch surface functions smartly enhance the interaction with VIERA integrated web browser.
In order to use the TV Remote app, all you need is to simply install the app to your Android Device. There is no complicated setting required to establish connection with VIERA. Give it a try.

I've tried both versions 1 and 2 with limited success. In both cases the success was not ultimately worth the frustration of the TV not being found every other time I use it (despite having the adapter connected with a strong signal to the same network) or the fact that the power button is missing -- which is still absolutely ridiculous.

Despite both television and tablet(s) being connected to the same hub the app does not detect the television! Totally useless and apparently typical of the poor support that Panasonic supplies to the UK market.

Useless. When I install an app like this I don't want to be hunting around to try and figure out how I connect it to my TV. After 5 minutes I uninstalled.

Could use better documentation, but if you have a DLNA network set up it is virtually seamless. Inconsistent connections plague it. It needs better organization of music. Company is also horrible.

Once upon a time, this app *sometimes* worked to control my VT50; button presses on the app would actually cause the TV to react. Now, though, this app can't even find / connect to the VT50......

Tried remote apps. 1 & 2, neither of which has simple on/off switch. I need my TV's remote for that... well if I have to reach or get up and get my TVs remote while I am using my galaxy tab then what's the point of this app??? Why don't the developers just add a simple power button like the Peel app? I would like to use panasonic viera app because it's more compatible with my Panasonic TV than Peel which can atleast turn on my TV....
