Equipment is great, app not such good quality

Really annoying to connect to network. My devices can't find the network and no online support to resolve. Annoyed.

W70%
by W####:

Panasonic aren't listening to customer feedback. Alarm functions poor (needs fade in), slow to detect Panasonic hardware to set special functions, alarm volume slider is far too small, impossible to set volume with any precision, also needs a numeric value display, lots of UI inconsistency (polish like the splash screen only working in portrait for example). UI is horrible and inconsistent, often getting "trapped" in menus like add new device, where back button is intentionally blocked? Whats with the landscape (pointless) splash screen? On the plus side, they have implemented DLNA song search, which appears to work OK. Whoever is running this project is doing a very poor job.

Good app and easy to use. Very good.

Just bought a new PMX100 hifi. Installed this app, added my 'speaker' to my network, tried to stream music to my 'speaker' and it is not found on network! Restarted process 3 times and it was successful every time until i try to stream and my 'spaeker is not found on network. Why is everything nowadays so bloody hit or miss? Ill just use bluetooth as that is something that just works properly!

The latest update made everything work like a charm. It is not extremely intuitive, but for these speakers it just works! It gets more and more mature after every update People who have disconnection problems should check their wifi, it's not the problem of the speakers

I use this app for the radio alarm clock device. Getting to the alarm clock features requires navigating thorough several screen. And I don't understand why you can't set sleep timer on the device itself...

i don't understand why some people are having problems with this app i have the panasonic all5, all2, all 3, set up no problem, but I do have excellent broadband speed. great sound as well

M70%
by M####:

Works OK as far as it goes, but you can only play downloaded content via WiFi. If you want to stream your Amazon Prime music catalogue you need to connect via Bluetooth which saps the battery of your device and means if you walk more than a short distance from the speaker you will be in danger of losing connection and therefore cutting the music feed. Other online catalogs like Spotify are supported via WiFi but that doesn't help much if you have all your music on prime.

M70%
by M####:

Just too inconsistent. The app is OK, but it's rare it sees all my speakers, and when it does you often can't group them. Not so much the app as the underlying implementation of ALLPLAY I guess, but it makes this app feel shoddy

Functional app, but awful interface design. Have the developers ever used Android?

C70%

Only had it working for 3 hours since installation, so far really chuffed with it.

With the playlist introduction, the search introduction, etc., it is becoming even better each time!

This app needs a total overhaul to bring it in line with the latest Android experience.

Speakers don't stay linked together so you have to relink them to use the system which is such a pain. The app does not pick up all my music on my tablet I regret buying this system just because off the app. It really is such a let down that it has put me off buying more speakers

I have an all1 2x all2 2x all3 an all5 & an all9 and the 70t soundbar now and they all sound and work great. I would hazard a guess that it is the quality of the broadband that people have that dictate how well some peoples systems work and the wifi signal throughout. I have fibre broadband with a fast 40mbs service and a good sky router and a netgear wifi extender for the top of the house and everything works everywhere. The app is great but the way it reads the files in my pc is odd and it plays albums in song alphabetically and not by track number ??? A few more tweeks to the app and it will be upto scratch with the best. 5*s when the small niggles are ironed out. Thank you Panasonic for a great system.

Speakers good, software a real let down. Such a shame, very limited choice of online streaming sources and i've air audio a third party app which can stream system audio rather than the limited sources available. I recently bought as Wiley fox swift android phone, it runs cyanogen a modified os, and the Panasonic radio doesn't work which means no internet radio. Also one of the speakers has stopped working today, on Christmas which is a very annoying. I can't recommend at all......

by A####:

I am so disappointed with this. I have all8 and all3. Wireless connection was so poor gave up and connected via ether net as the sound was so unstable. Still it konks out halfway through each track. I constantly get the 'unfortunately music stream has stopped working '. Must be an app conflict. Piss poor frankly.

M70%
by M####:

It's a clunky app that seems to be unintuitive at times. 50%of the time I have had to reconnect to my device. Also you cannot close the app down without force stopping it! However, when the app does work and you do get to grips with its odd way of working it's a good program.

N70%
by N####:

Well, the app sets up the speaker etc and streams music to it perfectly well but why can't it set the music out as it should be and not in alphabetical order? That is really annoying. All the ID tags are correct as the albums wouldn't be correct in the apps on my devices so get it right in the app please.

I bought the Panasoic All speaker package. I get two All2 speakers, one All8 and one All3, sound quality is superb when the speaker works. I find that it is basically impossible to add speakers to the software speaker list under the wifi network. I managed to add one All2 to the software, but after the speaker goes to sleep, it disappears from the speaker list. Anyone has any solution for this, much appreciated. The speakers all work fine with ethernet cable connection, but this defeats my purpose of buying

Love the app it links my Panny PMX 100 with the kitchen all play speakers. I can listen to all my music whilst cooking that's on the USB in the main unit. Links well through wifi and never drops out and always in sync. Only problem is my teenager daughter...turn it down dad! What's happened to kids?

M70%
by M####:

Good but could be vastly improved. Track sorting within an album when viewing via Artist should not be alphabetical, it isn't when viewed via Album. Takes a while to start and find the speakers. Occasionally crashes and needs reconfiguring. Not a very pretty interface. Navigation around the app could be improved.

M70%
by M####:

Can only get to work with music actually on my phone. Will no longer connect with Google play or other music services. Used to work, but now it doesn't.

T70%
by T####:

Yes it works. You'll need an additional app to set radio presets, and the only one that I've found that works doesn't let you select the steam, leaving me listening to a 48kbs stream whereas the same station on Tunein has an 128kbs steam. This ultimately makes the hardware sound rubbish. Spotify works well.

M70%
by M####:

The speaker works well: good sound, connects to network, online services, Bluetooth etc. App not very user friendly though. Also, currently no way to exit app without having to Force Stop which is very annoying.

M70%
by M####:

The instructions on installing and activating are useless. I followed the process and it worked via my mobile. Was it intelligible? Not at all. For my laptop it is installed but how do I activate it? No clear instructions. Who writes these processes? Do they ASSUME we all have the same capabilities and understandings of IT? Get real PLEASE.

M70%
by M####:

Speakers great. App is hopeless. Loses speakers every day. Grouping is a pain. Ok if you want to set up each time you want to play through one speaker. About time this app was completely overhauled

A70%
by A####:

I have to add the speakers every single time i open the app. Every single time. Defeats the purpose of having a supposedly convenient, follow me system of Bluetooth speakers. I would give it zero stars if I could.

M70%
by M####:

Would be nice if this app could also replace the tiny remote you get with the ALL 70 so you can change sound settings etc.

M70%
by M####:

Had this for a while now and it certainly has got much better over that time and is now actually very good. It's great to see that the app is being updated along the way and will hopefully continue to be. The play list feature in particular now is so much better than when I first got the app. You can play pretty much any thing on your phone via Bluetooth now, I would prefer that to be integrated through WiFi though, for example Google play music with WiFi integration would be great.

M70%
by M####:

Very simple easy to use with my 5 all play speakers. Would benefit from having an option to browse music using a folder structure option. I have all my music in order on my sd card but cannot browse them in the order I know. Would also be great to be able to add Widgets, so as to turn on/off speaker with one touch button.

M70%
by M####:

Great system for the price range. There can be a few issues with connectivity but nothing that I've not been able to solve very easily and quickly. The sound of the All 07 and two all 2 strangers it's amazing 5.1 Dolby surround sound.

Bad ui. Weak functionality. Needs work.

I have tried this App thousands of times since purchasing a Pantsasonic ALL-1C device last year. It hardly ever works and keeps telling me it can't play a song that is already in the Queue. Have tried customer service - no help whatsoever

Absolute rubbish - Amazon prime not supported, wish I'd bought a Sonos...
