I paid alot of money to buy my panasonic recorder, partly because of being able to use the app to remote record and watch content from my player to my mobile. But the app is a total let down to say the least. What a rubbish layout and interface this app needs a toal overhaul. Come on now lets have a great app to go with a great product. The truth is If i had known how bad the app was going to be before i got the recorder then i would not have bought it. I have been telling my friends not to buy it either.

I purchased an expensive recorder from Panasonic mainly because of the remote recording function. Now this app does not work at all. Last update nearly a year ago. Is this how you treat customers Panasonic?

I bought an expensive panasonic DVR so i could watch on mobile devices. It works fine on an iPad but doesn't work at all on Android .. my phone or my tablet. I can get it to change channel on my TV but not view on any other device. I just get a message saying the player has priority. An expensive mistake. I dare say i have grounds to return it but it would be easier if they'd just fix the app.

Remote recording works great and very useful. All other features never work and very disappointing. "Operation has been terminated. Recorders operation has priority." Even when the fu¢€ING player isn't even turned on. Very disappointed such a major company like Panasonic can release such a buggy useless program, expected better.

Can see channels and recordings but won't stream either. Error 'Recorder Has Priority' but recorder is not doing anything else. Remote recording does tend to work.

Remote recording is clumsey interface and doesn't always work. Multiroom streaming doesn't work at all any more, and Ive used multiple devices including phones, consoles, and tablet - no luck with any of them. It's a broken app, broken service, and doesn't do what it's advertised to do. I will never buy a Panasonic again. The service is very very poor. Looks like I'm not the only one with issues either. Sort it out!

Interface very basic and clunky. "TV guide" misleading as it's just programme listings. Panasonic should look at the YouView app to see how it should be done. Unable to watch content (Android 6.0.1) as the app just hangs. Remote recording works ok, but is time-based so if a programme starts late its end is missed.

does not progress beyond 'searching' and never finds the PVR. the iOS version on my iPad detects the recorder immediately and works great. all devices are on the same network. please fix the Android version!

Uselessly unreliable, fails 9 times out of 10 to connect. Tip is to record everything before you go out... i.e. do not download this.

This app worked ok on my HTC Desire s running android 2.3.5 but not on my s5 running lollipop. Very annoying please fix.Doesnt work on android 6 either. What a crap app!!

This app stopped working approximately the beginning of 2016 and Panasonic have never fixed or updated it. This is something to consider when purchasing anything made by this brand.

No option for remote recording can not find device on local network just as usless as the pwt530 player is very disappointed with panasonic again what a shame I can't give it zero stars

Live TV is ok to watch on my HTC android 4.1 but not on my Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 android 6.0.1 instead I get "Operation has been terminated, recorder's operation has priority". Please explain!

Can see the programmes recorded on HDD of player but fails to play anything stating player operation has priority. Using S7 Edge.

Poor interface design, dull and boring. Slow at the best of times, unbearable other times. It does the job though.

I have 2 Panasonic cameras and I'm unable to connect to either using any of the methods available

Not even usable. How can a company such as Panasonic develop a product as poor as this AND fail to even occasionally update it. Love Pannie hardware but this app is horrible on Android (much better on iPhone)

Playback to mobile device only seems to work from my tablet when it's in the same room as the recorder. I can't get it to work from my phone when I'm not at home (which is when it would be useful). Error messages are a bit hard to understand and seem to contradict what is actually happening (eg. "Failed to connect, recorder has priority " when the recorder is off). It's a great shame, because it would be a really useful feature if it worked.

"recorders operation has priority" message, yet it's actually doing nothing. Couldn't get it to play anything.. App is useless, slow, and isn't user friendly.. never buying Panasonic again...

The whole reason I bought the Panasonic PVR was to stream television content to my android devices and this feature does not work. Can we have a response please Panasonic?

Without any doubt, this is the worst app installed on my phone. It is slow, unreliable and unintuitive. The only reason its still installed is due to a lack of alternatives. Come on Panasonic... Invest in your tech...

Simply doesn't work and needs Wi-Fi - due to crap Wi-Fi my Android TV is wired. Installed app on Tablet and the app just sits there searching. Bought a Panasonic recorder with the hope I can stream to other parts of the house - waste of money, can't find a DLNA player that access it properly

Why update a fundamentally flawed feature? This app requires a redesign from scratch. Searching from various android or apple devices to playback a recording or to watch live TV doesn't find the recorder yet does when asked to schedule a recording! My Panasonic TV (TXL32D28) plays recordings and live TV fine via WiFi so the problem is not with the recorder (DMRHW230)

Only wanted to use the remote recorder part yet after having to reinstall a number of apps this being one the only tab is the remote viewing .

Haven't really had the need to use it much, but for 20 or so times that I have used it over the last 12 months, it's worded perfectly for me.

Come on Panasonic!! Pull your fingers out. It's slow unresponsive and useless.

I use this app to remote record. But after last update the record section has disappeared. The play back is all that's left, and that has never worked.

Cannot find recorder. It is time Panasonic got their act togeher. Have absolutely no plans to buy any more Panasonic equipment.

Remote recording works fine. Viewer took too long to load so gave up waiting

Now can set recording again BUT still can't use the playback function on DWT130. Also, won't delete set recordings...

It will only set something to record if the box is switched on and phone is on the same network ie you're at home and can set it anyway

Reinstalled after system upgrade. Initial launch found both my recorders but after I selected one of them, it would not find the other player!
