About Area Calculator
A tool for agricultural professionals and not only . Calculate the distances and the acres of fields in a simple and easy way using your mobile with Google maps and GPS enabled .
The software allows you to calculate the extent of the field by selecting points.
To add a point onto the map you just have to long press into the map to add the point to selected location or if you are in the field you can press thumbtack icon on the left to record your current location.
You have the option to save and restore the areas that you have created .
Also you can use different units of measurement for area and distance .

Need to improve the way the pins are placed you can't see the pin point because you finger is covering it otherwise it's much better than most other similar apps

Use it for putting out pasture for the dairy cows, and it is surely the best area measure app out there!!! Used to use Andmeasure, but this app is a step ahead, love the save and restore function and further more, it is much more user friendly, keep up the good work!!!

I was looking for an app to measure the area of our land. Being irregular shaped and filled with bushes, I needed an app that would draw a polygon based on the points marked and calculate the area within. This app was perfect and did the job well! Being able to save and restore the point is very useful. I would rate this app with 5 stars if a feature is provided to export the points (latitude and longitude) to a text file. Currently you can export the image only but when the area is large it becomes difficult to read the distance between points. Overall a very useful and accurate app.
