Spotdox is an add on for Dropbox that gives you remote access to all of your files.
Access any file on your office, home or laptop Mac or Windows PC (or any drives attached to it) from your Android device. Forget clunky VPN solutions. Spotdox’s Android connector app empowers you to seamlessly interact with files that exist on your computer. You can also connect using the iOS Spotdox app or web client. The Spotdox desktop client runs on Windows 7/8 and Mac OS X 10.7+
Your Windows server (or Mac server) is accessible via the cloud. Without moving a single file, Spotdox gives you access to any device in your office, including your iCloud and Google Drive files. Moving all your files to the cloud is not practical. Spotdox allows you to use your existing LAN, permissions and security to allow access to documents on the go.

Changed from 5☆ to 1☆. Getting a message that says I am currently using Dropdox Lite. Apparently the only thing you can do with Lite is see your computer's name, not the files. Useless you pay. Not worth it for someone that rarely needs to access a file.

Maybe people like me are becoming less common, but I treat laptops as if they're disposable. I figure they can break or be dropped or stolen at any time and my data isn't safe (nor do I have enough room to store all of it) with something that I carry with me. So SpotDox has become ridiculously useful when I forget to put a file into my Dropbox and it's sitting on my desktop or in another part of my filesystem. Great interface, gives me easy access to every drive connected to my Mac.

In order to use this app, I need to have my laptop open and program running. It's not very often that I leave the house and have my laptop sitting open, as this seems to be a security violation just waiting to happen. Accordingly, I am stuck in the same position as if I hadn't even installed it. Bleccch.

A little hard to login as my keyboard kept getting in the way but this app is great! I'm constantly moving around and forget files on my other computers. Being able to access my files from anywhere is so useful. Love this app!
