Palka Card Magic Trick

Palka Card Magic Trick (for Android 4.2 Jelly Bean and after) is a simple magic trick that will surprise the viewer when he sees his chosen card appear magically on your Android smart phone. No physical cards are necessary. The viewer just names one of 52 cards in a deck and you reveal the card of his choice on your smart phone.

Embedded in the app are three techniques used to accomplish this trick. Any one can be used by itself to perform the trick. Only one of the techniques uses voice recognition. Alternating between the three techniques can keep any viewer guessing. All the results are visual.

The techniques are easy to learn. They employ a simple version of “Chased” and similar “Si Stebbins” ordering, which are common to magicians. The app has a pull-down menu item that reveals the instructions in detail with screen-capture illustrations and text. It also has a graphic overlay for learning the techniques. A complete reveal is easy to do quickly.
