Fotolio for Android
Doesn't work at all!!
Just show a grey screen saying please add photos but not button or menu to add photos.
Not user-friendly. Can't edit what photos show up in a folder.. doesn't make sense. Definitely a poor app.
How to use it
Acer A200. This is a great app, that is brilliant for displaying images of work / photos etc. Many thanks to the developer for releasing this. It could do with a little polishing to get it perfect, but is the only app that will do what I want on Android.
Works perfectly on my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7. Loads pictures faster than the stock android gallery app.
How do we change slide show time or landscape vs portrait
Exactly what I was looking for to share my design portfolio on my a500 tablet.
Works great on DROID X!
Fantastic app, was using quickpic but this is much cleaner and transitions are great.
Wish I had a tablet, but this is still awesome on my sgs2
Works on my asus transformer running ics
Keeps crashing on asus tf101.....after a few secs.
Current release does not read my pictures on the external microsd on the Transformer TF101
Galaxy tab 10.1
Very clean
Only FC if you select external USB without an USB plugged in. Love this application!
Crashes when accessing external USB on Iconia Tab A500.
I was looking for apps like this and this is very nice apps thanks to dev for effort
This app is nice and clean, fairly easy to operate. However the inability to zoom really hampers it. Many art directors, if viewing on a digital device want to be able to see an image mor closely. Add zoom and you got a strong app here.
The app was great when I started but I ran into a bit of an issue that the app would not recognize the sdcard so I couldn't add photos. A quick email to the dev and he had the problem solved in an hour. That's service right there and on a free app no less! I'd gladly pay for this app!
Doesn't work, at all
Won't open just shows a black screen then cuts back to the phones home screen
Great idea exactly what I'm looking for, but the app crashes a lot. I wouldn't want to show this to a potential client due to this. As of now it is unusable for me, but it has a lot of potential!
Won't open just shows a black screen then cuts back to the phones home screen
Loved the app when first installed, however it now loads the splash screen then a black screen then kicks back to the start menu.. have reinstalled which fixed the problem once, but now it's back.. Galaxy Note 2, and as I said, love the app except for that issue.. hope to see it fixed soon..
Cheesy, unprofessional options for portfolio backgrounds and album cover images. Lacking the most important feature of any album/portfolio app: the ability to rearrange image order (drag and drop would be good).
Excellent app for showing people a portfolio. I would love (and pay for!) a Pro version where I could use my own cover page as the loading screen.
Brilliant functionality, displays true resolution images without the usual artifacts when displayed in android gallery. One small issue, it absolutely needs to be able to see my sd card in my galaxy tab 2 10.1. It will only see the onboard storage.
if it didn't crash after looking at one picture, without fail, every time. On a Transformer Infinity.
Best photo portfolio I have seen on the market so far. It would instantly get 5 stars from me if there was an option to rename folders and rearrange image orders, as well as zooming on the images. (the zoom being the most important point)
Won't open just shows a black screen then cuts back to the phones home screen
Thanks for enabling this for phones! The default layout works just fine on a qHD screen. Great portfolio app.
Great presentational app, but Zoom/Pinch Zoom is kind of unintuitive (perhaps a shorter delay to the long-press method, or just make pinch zoom the default) and a way to organize the opening portfolio categories either alphabetically or numerically. It'd be amazing if you could dynamically rename the portfolio categories at the start menu, enable word-wrapping on portfolio labels, and have your custom logo at the front page before sub-categorizing them.
Thank you for that input. I was able to figure it out using your suggestion and your program now displays my files correctly on my Nexus 7 pad!
Great work my friend!
Been looking for an app like this for a quite a while now and I'm glad I stumbled upon this one. Though it is far from perfect, I believe it has a lot of potential! I agree with Ben that the fotolio covers could be more professional looking. Also, the I prefer using the third fotolio viewing style, but it should have an easy way to zoom into one photo -- long-press perhaps? There are other minor issues, but the app works and looks great as is! I would be willing to pay for this app if it becomes more polished. Thank you developer!
Android sorely lacks photo portfolio apps but thankfully this one performs very well. The only transition between photos is a simple dissolve but I prefer that. My suggestions for future enhancements- * Ability to brand the presentation by adding a user customizable text or the ability to add a background image behind the various portfolios. * Ability to rename portfolios created. Currently the app uses the name of the folder containing the photos. * Ability to add/remove individual photos instead of bulk loading of an entire folder * Ability to change the order of portfolios. I've created separate portfolios for both subject and image orientation. The app currently sorts the portfolios by alphanumeric order. * BUG- In thumbnail view, portrait photos are rotated 90 degrees and are presented in landscape orientation. Again, it's a SOLID start and amazing that it's free! Well done!!
Very nice app with brilliant idea of showing fotos the desired folders. Despite minor bugs it is very good, just installed it, will post bugs later, when wil use it for a while...
