I had this app for a long time and I finally updated it, however, the update is total trash. It was way easier to save high quality pictures and videos from instagram before I updated it, now it's just pure rubbish and won't even download the content that I want. Before updating you would need to sign in to your ig on the app, but there was no problems with that whatsoever and then all you would need to do is click the pictures/videos you wanted to download and it would download immediately.
