Sous-vide remote for ANOVA

Just like the Anova app, this one doesn't work for me either. I have had two different Anova devices and used three different phones all with different Android operating systems. I wasted money on this app because Anova can't make an app that works and this app doesn't work either.

Since ANOVA has been very hush hush about their plans for an Android app this one will have to do. not very polished but performs well, has only crashed once on me . color control for the LED light is just icing on the cake.

The app does what it says, HOWEVER, developer deserves the biggest of kudos. This guy responds in moments (and his instructions were 100% correct). You don't see action like his to often. Hats off to you. Great job!

Nothing happens after install. No help functions. Simply a black screen

Worked 1st time now it won't connect. Please advise or refund.

Can operate multiple curclateor's at one time

The main reason I bought this app was for the multi-step programming ability. Unfortunately that feature does not work properly. Setting a program makes the numbers change to some random defaults, so you don't actually know the parameters that are programmed. The temp never actually gets to even the 1st stage set, but hovers 0.6F below. Hence the program never proceeds to the next stage because the 1st stage hasn't been met. Not sure why this happens since in dumb mode, it does reach target temp.

I have it on an S4, Can see live temp, target temp. Control time, set timer on your phone through app. Set up a program of cooking, i.e. 58°C 30 min, 60°C 5min and so forth, 10 slots available. Then even change the color of the light :D

Tested with an iPhone 5 and worked fine. Does NOT work with LG G3 device

With little else to compare it to 5 stars. Does what it is supposed to do. Not the most user friendly but with a little reading and messing around it's not to bad. Developer seems to be continually working on updates.

I have Samsung Galaxy s4 and Sony xperia, but both can't connect blue tooth thought avona official app. This one works.

For some reason i cannot get it linked Followed directions, but no luck.

Not working so great. Constantly disconnects and difficult to control.

Another app that will not pair the anova with my Samsung note 4. Time for a refund.

I can't get this to connect with precision pro with my galaxy edge? So I can't give it 5 stars nor I don't think it's fair to give one.

Suggestions for future releases: -Move extraneous color, name, timing, program, hacker stuff further down the screen or to another activity altogether. -Add seconds to the timers -Clarify differences between A/D statistics.

Who knows when Anova will release a proper android app, they were late with their iOS app, so it's a waiting game. I haven't played with the advanced options like program steps in a real world test, but they work with a pot of water. This app performs exactly as advertised! I suspect people giving it 1 star didn't read the description, or don't know what model Anova they have. Question to the Developer, are the program steps sent to the anova when programmed, or do I need to be in range for them to work?

Worked fine the first 4 times. Now asks for a pin before syncing with the cooker. I have no idea what the pin is or where to look for it.

Thanks to programmer. He offered full refund regardless of problem. Gave me a work around. And latest update fixed problem. Works great, thanks

Suggestions for improvement: Add feature to set the scope of the data plot for long cooks, fix crashes associated with opening data plot, and display timer in real time over current temperature.

If you have an ANOVA circulator, this is a good investment. The official app isn't out in the wild, but this will hold everyone over. It gives you all the functionality you would need, although the interface itself is a bit raw.

Great app! Thanks for filling the gap for Anova. I realise they are still trying to catch up with their fulfilment, so this is a great app to enable some of the cooler features - especially enabling the time without the ridiculous steps required on the Anova itself. Love the colour-change capacity as well. A few little bugs (more just annoyances really), but essentially works great and it is really appreciated.

Only works for one of the 3 models. This isn't clear from the description, I purchased this app but it does not work with my unit. I see, obviously it's my fault for not realizing exactly which model this gift was and doing more research. A refund would be great, thanks.

Thanks for releasing this. It works fine and is a great stopgap until the official Anova app gets released.
