There are many twitter clients for android but none of them has support for sinhala language. Which means sri lankan majority of twitter users cant view local language tweets on their android phones. So we came up with a user friendly twitter client with Sinhala language support built on it.
*users can swipe to switch tabs. Built in tabs are home, mensions, Direct messages and Accounts. Users can add custom tabs if they wanted to.

• Inline image preview
• Built in image viewer and map viewer

• Direct messages with conversation style
• Filters (block unwanted tweets)

• t.co link auto expanding
• Multiple account support
• Custom OAuth consumer key/secret
• Basic features supported for StatusNet/Fanfou
• Direct login with user name and password
• GZip compressing for API requests
kichibichiya is based on the open source project Twidere.
since Twidere is licenced under GPL v3 kichibichiya is GPL v3 too. visit http://code.google.com/p/kichibichiya/ for source code.

needed app. And it's excellent. Lightweight, fast, and sleek. Sinhala functionality aside, best of luck ! as i guess this is the first time 3rd party twitter client app came with inbuilt sinhala rendering ! : suggestions : if you can try to increase hourly tweeting limit for far as i see only 60 tweets hope it will be increase with next update thank you

As far as twitter clients go, this is one of the best. Fast, slick, loads of features and customizable. Apparently there's support for extensions too, which means there's lot more potential.

Much needed app for Sri Lankan Twitter users as Android phones are popular in Sri Lanka and they lack sinhala unicode support. Best of luck to developer.

Missing "tab to load more" a lot, and sometimes it shows "unknown err, probably a bug". But still great twitter client app.
