Run Faster (Pace) for Android
Didn't work on my phone s5
App works unreliably. Has not been updated for changes in android operating system. Wait for update before purchasing
I've tried using this app a few times, and its functioning is spotty at best. It often just freezes up, but sometimes it glitches and gives inaccurate pace cues instead. I do run it concurrently with Runkeeper and an audiobook app, so ymmv if you're using it on its own. I'm extremely disappointed, though; I expect apps I pay for to work as described.
Set the pace just above a walk. On start, I walked slowly and was told to speed up. I then proceeded to run and never heard back from the app again.
Well, I guess its that I have a Galaxy S III . GPS has been on for well over an hour and it still will not connect. How sad for me... Would have been awesome
Never finds gps and race has started before anything happens loads of rubbish do not install
It's about time someone came out with app that helps with your pace...not just one to track but actually helps maintain a consistent pace. Love it!!!
Quick response from developer concerning fixes. Thanks. Will update post after tomorrows run.
The ability to maintain pace and track distance and run history makes this the best running app out there!
Prompt response from dev. Very refreshing and an app that definatly has potential!
Takes a bunch of tries to get a gps lock doesnt keep pace or distance only spams you with speed up or slow down audio which interrupts or shuts off your music this app fails

Runkeeper is far better and is free don't waste your money
Never manages to get gps on galaxy s, making it useless
Good response from dev but needs more work. Has potential.
doesn't work on samsung galaxy. gps lock screen stays stuck even after it locks
Has potential, but not worth the money. This should be a beta version.
Does exactly what I want it to do, keep my pace. One thing I would like to see is the ability to post runs to facebook/twitter/dailymile from the history tab, instead of only immediately after the run. There are a lot of dead spots in the areas where I run and it would be nice to be able to post the runs at a later time. I never had any problems with the GPS problems people are talking about. One thing to keep in mind, if you turn off your GPS to conserve battery, make sure to give it a little bit of time for it to connect to all of the satellites before starting up the app. Pacemaker does not fall back to the cellular triangulation if the GPS isn't connected, it is not accurate enough to effectively monitor pace. One quick way to check if the GPS connection has been made is to load up the Google Maps app and see if there is a shaded circle around the pointer. If there is, you are not using GPS, that circle is the accuracy margin of error for triangulation.

Have ran w it twice, and both times force closed, which means no pace, no time, no distance, i will just use my watch.
App did track my GPS signal with no issues at all, it told me when I was going too fast and too slow like it is supposed to. My only issue is that when I finished the run, reviewed it, it marked the distance in kms and the avg pace in miles so I thought my pace was freakishly slow until I did the math on my own. If the designers fix that (I hope they do being that this is a paid app) then I would be fully happy with it!

An app I wanted as a novice runner, to help me pace my run. Bought it the day before. Tried to use it today. The Nike+ running app and Run double could lock onto satellites, this app repeatedly couldn't.
